Parts are of good quality, fit well and are performing great.

The burner shields and the support clips on my 4 year old Char Griller 3072 had rusted completely away despite keeping it covered and under a shelter. This refurbishing kit said the clips and the burner shields were stainless steel and they were. I was able to remove all the existing bolt from the clips and thoroughly clean the grill body inside. Took about 20 minutes to remove and clean and about 20 minutes to bolt in new clips and put the burners and ignitors and shields in place. Everything fit perfectly and works great. My 4 year old grill cost me $149 new at Wal Mart. The replacement Model 3001 at Char Griller is $344. I have a new grill for $35. I am a happy griller.

I bought this to replace a cheaper crappy set I installed three years ago. All of the parts in this kit are heavy duty and well made. Everything fit perfectly and was easy to adjust. The wiring for the ignitors does not have insulation on the bare metal spade terminals so my strong ignitor coil was arcing everywhere but at the ignitor ends. I Emailed the company and they quickly sent me a new set to try at no charge. Same thing. I put some heat shrink over the bare metal connectors now everything sparks where it is supposed to. There was no gas hole near the ignitor end and the burners would not light right away. I elected not to blow myself up, so, I removed all the burners and drilled one small hole under the end of the ignitor on each burner. Now everything works perfectly.

Had the same items in the cart at the manufacturer site and it was 90 dollars. This kit was under 40 and was stainless. The hardest part of this job is removing the old screws from the burner tube brackets. An oscillating tool with a metal cutting blade works really good, so does an angle grinder with a cut-off wheel. I like the way these burn, you see a nice plume of flame along the edge of the flame guard when on high. I also had a new factory replacement burner tube on hand to compare, these are just as heavy and once again, they are stainless. No brainer, its a good kit and price is right. All needed hardware is included. The igniter wires are all long, you can trim them to length and crimp on a new end or just coil them up, cable-tie and tuck them up in the manifold housing, plenty of room for it there.

For the most part it was easy to install. The original parts were put together with 5/16 inch nuts. The new ones came with 9/32 nuts which made it harder to thread on to bolts. All the parts fit relatively easy. I took the advice of the reviews and used my old igniters so I cannot say if new igniters were better or worse.

Overall this was a very easy kit to install that fit quite well. The hardest part was getting the old stuff out of my grill. The burners and heat tents feel like they are pretty good quality and there was adequate hardware for the installation. HOWEVER....the ignitors are terrible...!!! They do not line up and the spark is weak as all hell...I ended up using my old ignitors instead. I would still buy this kit as it is a decent value. That is why I rated it 3 starts instead of 4

Used this to renew a 2 1/2 year old Char-Griller 5050 Duo on which the propane side had nearly disintegrated from rust. This kit, combined with a replacement lower tub from C-G, completely renewed the propane side for a total cost of around $100.00 combined (and about 2 hours work). Grill is good for another 30 months at least. Quality of the parts is better than what originally came with the 5050 grill. Heavier gauge steel, wider heat reflectors. Better, tighter fit. Included new igniters, wiring and mounting hardware. Very happy with result - beats buying a new grill!

These parts look fine and the tents fit well. However, the burners do not fit the Oklahoma Joe combo grill/smoker. I kept the order anyway because the tents look well made and are stainless unlike Charbroil's porcelain coated (or painted or whatever they are that don't last). I also needed the hangar parts because my grill hangars were welded on and they rusted off. I'll be drilling holes for these stainless hangars and hope they hold up. So the burners are the only things that don't fit and I don't see where Amazon carries the correct size burners. Had to order those direct from Charbroil for $10 each.
