Feline Natural - Freeze Dried Cat Supplements for Digestive Support

This is a total game changer! I think my cats became bored w their food. I added a little of this to their wet food, and now they are chowing down again!!! I use two (easily crumbled) “pellets” per 3 oz can of food. Two pellets of tripe weigh about 1g. The package is 57 oz. My cats already get good food and supplements, so I’m mainly using this to add variety and interest. If you’re using it to provide a substantial amount of supplemental nutrition, you would need to add more than I do. (Do not use this as your cat’s only or main feed. It’s not formulated with all the vitamins they need.) I had previously used a freeze dried product like this that also came in a very soft pellet form. I had learned that my cats would NOT eat it if it was placed atop their food, either as a pellet or crumbled. BUT, if I crumbled the pellets and mixed them into the food, my cats ate it up. So that’s what I do now. If you are feeding one of the drier canned cat foods, you may need to add a teaspoon or so of water to maintain the same moisture levels in the food. But I use the Feline Natural canned cat food - either lamb or lamb + chicken, and that has enough moisture in it that it doesn't seem to change the texture. FWIW - The product listing says that it is smelly. I have not experienced that, and I am VERY sensitive to scents. Until I stuck my nose into the bag, I didn’t smell anything! Highly recommend!

Feline Natural lamb tripe booster is hands down one of the best products I’ve ever given to Cashew, even though it’s easily the stinkiest food in his collection! Despite the strong smell, the health benefits are absolutely outstanding. Since adding it to his meals, I’ve noticed better digestion, increased energy, and a shinier coat. I love this product so much because it’s packed with nutrients and truly supports his overall well-being. If you can get past the smell, it’s a game-changer for your cat’s health!

Freeze dried pieces has faint odor -you have to really sniff it to tell. Once rehydrated with water, it does have a funky smell but it is mixed up with C's regular wet food so the smell was somewhat cover. Not extremely offensive. C loves it. The package says 1/4 cup for a small cat but I am only introducing a small bit a a time. Remember people you can't just expect a cat to take on something completely new without a transition. My only complain is it takes time to rehydrate the pieces. I think warm water helps and it takes some manual crushing of the pieces. I also not sure if freeze drying the green tripe preserves the biotic stuff that is supposed to be good for cats.

My kitty is almost one-year-old and I have been feeding her this supplement for almost her whole young life. She loves these "treats" and she also loves the canned version of the lamb green tripe. The smell kinda reminds me of a very ripe dumpster that has been left in the sun for days. I've learned to get past the smell since I know it is very good for my kitty's digestion. The only problem I've had lately with a recent order is the diameter of the booster is bigger than before. I'm thinking someone put the dog version in the cat bag. I've had to cut the pieces up so my kitty can eat them easily. So hold your nose and give your pet a very healthy snack!

My cat refused to eat it after sniffing some of the nuggets. He then tried to bury it. I wish I could return the two unopened bags.

Chicken is the most common form of food allergies in cats and mine developed them at age 2. It is difficult to find treats that do not use chicken so tried this one with lamb and because of the manner in which they are produced. He gobbles them up, they are light weight and low cal and a good price point.

My siamese is absolutely obsessed with these. My ginger boy isn't interested, but my siamese almost shreds my hand like a feral cat trying to get to these when he sees one in my hand. He can sniff them out a mile away!

今回もまずは愛猫より先に味をみましたが、開封時から当たり一面に広がる牧場の香り… くさやと一緒で匂いだけだろうと考え一粒が兎に角デカイので小さくして口に入れました。噛み締めていると「あーラムの匂いと味だな」と思った矢先に牧草の香り… 気のせいと思い噛み続けて行くと牛舎の床からする匂いが迫ってきて… とりあえずは買ったので愛猫たちに一粒ずつ上げると最年長は顔を近ずけた瞬間に直ぐ顔を上げ私を睨んでこられました💦一番若い子は何度か嗅いだのち食べてくれましたが二粒目は逃げて行きました。 結果は３匹のうち1匹だけ食べて後は砂かけ動作をしたりまるで、「本気でこれ食べるの…」と訴えるような顔でした… リピートは残忍ながらしないです…
