I purchased the full kit for my 12 foot inflatable RIB a few years ago and accidentally lost the front light, so this is my replacement. What's great about this light is it is BRIGHT and the batteries last a very long time. I use it on the Chicago River which can be very busy in summer and other boats can easily see me in my small and low boat. The other types of lights are nowhere near as good in terms of quality and visibility. Don't think about the cost, just get it and be happy - and SAFE!
