Oxbow Timothy Hay Bungalow, Guinea Pig Hideout & Rabbit House, Large

My coturnix quail love these grass hides! A medium size can fit 2-3 quails huddled in there, and the hens really like to lay their eggs on them, which makes collecting them easier. I liked them so much I got 3. Each hide’s opening and shape is unique/inconsistent if that matters to you, but I think it makes for a nice variety and hand made look to them.

My chinchilla absolutely loves these huts. This is now his second (as he eventually ended up eating the first). I purchased this knowing he was ultimately going to eat it, but I was impressed with the fact that it took him awhile to even start on it. I think, in his little brain, he realizes that once he eats it, he will no longer have a this big place to hide. I wish they were cheaper, however being I can easily get 3-4 months out of one, it's not that big of a deal. Only annoying thing is my guy's need to rearrange any new items in his cage the first few nights. As much as I love my chinch, his decorating doesn't need to happen at 3 in the morning lol. He seems to have figured it out though, because now he just hangs out in the hut and it hasn't moved much in the last week. Will continue buying these as long as I have him :)

I absolutely love these hides for my gerbils! The hides are well made and do not fall apart. They hold up well to chewing… don’t get me wrong, your pet is going to eat it. My two gerbils can eat one in a couple days, but typically we get 2 weeks. They chew holes in the sides and connect it to their tunnel systems. The hides do not fall apart when they’re chewed through. I am able to give them regular Timothy hay and that helps distract them from eating the hide for a few extra days. My ONLY problem with them is the price, I would give it 4.5 stars if that was possible. I do find the price to be valid for the quality of the product, but it’s tough to afford because of how quickly my gerbils eat it up. Although the price is a bit tough for me, I’ll continue to purchase them. Fortunately my gerbils are beginning to recognize we can only afford one every 2 weeks at most.

My guinea pigs won't get out of this thing! I need to put a doggy pad inside with some hay because they do like to pee in there. The bungalow is edible and smells great. Will buy this again.

My rabbit is almost 6 months old and fits great. He absolutely loves it.

I bought the large for my ~5.5 lbs bunny but I wish it was a bit larger. I think she likes it. It's hard to tell what she thinks, but she has started to chew it so that's good. It is very thick and seem good quality. Just make sure you get rid the dessicant (small pockets that absorbs moisture). I didn't realize there was one and it fell on the floor.

Got the medium size for my netherland dwarf bunny and he is able to lay in it, perfect size for him. This is the 2nd time I bought this. The first one lasted a good 5 years before he was able to tunnel holes through it. Great and durable little hideout and burrowing toy for bunnies :)

Bought this for my chinchilla baby and he isn’t small but this thing makes him look small 🤣. He seems to enjoy it so far, I love that he has some safe to chew on as well. I’m satisfied and will probably buy more for my future babies.

Its good quality but im giving 4 stars due to the sizing. I have 2 baby gerbils and this hut is way too massive for their tank. It just fits but takes up about half the tank and its a medium size. Wish they came out with a small, would suit my gerbils much better! But might add this hut underneath their bedding when it's time to clean out their tank! Nice and roomy tho! Would be perfect for a guinea pig.

Your chinchillas will love it. Had mine for 3 years before my chinchillas finally broke a large enough hole in it for me to replace it. Only complaint is the price and limited availability of these.
