does this phone without a wall jack

Our phone service is through Comcast, so we plug the main element into a modem. Smaller elements, which have a wireless "connection" to the main element, are plugged into an electrical outlet. If your phone service is through a landline, you likely would have to use a wall jack for the main element. Call your provider.

Can the cordless handset be wall mounted?

Jerry - the cordless handset is not wall mountable.

If I have two separate wall jacks, one for each line, can I plug each one in or is it a single combo line 1/2 jack?

There are 2 separate jacks on the bottom of the phone. The first is a combo line1/line2. The second is a standalone line 2. I have 2 separate phone lines plugged into mine. There is also an RJ45 jack on the bottom marked "data".

What is the push to talk capability?

From what I can discern, it allows the phones to connect to each other for conversation (kinda like a walkie talkie).However, I've never used this function but often accidentally press the side button to see the phone asking me which phone I would like to connect to.
