Here's the deal...The product arrived on time and in good condition. Look...I like simple and I like organized and this is the best of both worlds. I already have two of the earlier models of this handy battery organizer which I really like...and, believe it or not, this is an improved version. No more loose batteries rolling around in a box or drawer...Hang it on the wall in your shop or lay it flat in a drawer. At a glance you can find what battery you need and or which ones you're getting low on. They have increased the storage for the popular AAA batteries, which was a suggestion I had made on a prior review...thank you. And the built-in battery tester now provides a digital read-out of remaining voltage vs the red, amber, green read-out lights of prior models. I plan to give this one as a gift. Get one and get organized...There you have it.

I was a bit leery when I ordered this as I was worried the plastic would be flimsy but it is very durable and I was able to instantly clean up the mess in my batter drawer and have everything organized and functional. I like that the battery tester displays an actual voltage instead of a "good/fair/replace" light like other ones that come with similar organizers. Nothing holds the batteries in the holder other than gravity, so it works great in a drawer but not sure I would want to hang it on a wall. I suppose they would stay in if you did this but there is nothing keeping them in the holder so flat in a drawer seems like a better option.

Nice capacity for a lot of batteries of all kinds. Being a bit OCD, I never have to deal with the mess in my drawer again. It would be nice to have a cover though. On the other hand, after I put the batteries in I found a small hairline crack from between the bottom right corner of the AAA slot to the upper right AA slot, I think the plastic itself cannot support to much of weight but since this organizer is not being move anywhere constantly it doesn't matter to me. The back of the battery tester has a chart for 1.5v and 9v ALKALINE battery. What I almost use is the eneloop 1.2v AA and AAA NiMH batteries. To save some time for other here's a quick reference, I hope this help: A very quick way to estimate the status of a rechargeable cell “AA” / “AAA” 1.2v battery by using a simple multimeter and checking the terminal voltage of the battery, do note that this is not an accurate way to measure the battery capacity as it just to give you a rough idea about status for a NiMH rechargeable battery. If the voltage in Volts (V) is around 1.36 - 1.38 – Consider the battery as fully charged. around 1.30 – It has around 80% of the capacity around 1.2 or lower the cell is almost fully discharged.

I’m pleased with this battery storage drawer. I recently stored mine in ziplocks to keep separate and easy access to which I wanted but didn’t realize if touching ends can discharge and found battery acid in one bag .....dr google told me about the discharging! So this takes care of that! Was big enough for all I have cept I think could use more AAA...lot of things take this size these days....spaces but had some AA ones free so am storing in there. Nice to have the tester too. Good price.

I love it. Organizes all my batteries nicely. D size are a bit tight for some battery brands but not the units fault. Duracell D size fits without issue. Battery tester works well. My only complaint is I wish the red part that slides was spring loaded. I also wish the battery tester fit snugly in the unit likenhaving it clip in. As it is if I wall hung the unit I fear the battery tester wpuld not stay in.

I’m really satisfied with the product. It’s made of a thick plastic that makes me believe it will be durable. I had a fun time testing all my batteries when it arrived. Also, the battery tester does indeed fit D batteries. Other similar products complained about this so I’m glad there is no concern with this product. SMALL TIP: the batter tester slides out horizontally. Don’t try to pull up on it. I made that mistake and with the sound it made I thought I broke something- thankfully everything appears fine (yay for thick plastic!) I do wish the battery tester either didn’t have a “slot” or it fit vertically in some way to allow for another few rows of AAA batteries- it takes up so much unnecessary space! I would rather have additional room for batteries.

They say in the advertisement that you can keep it in a drawer or mount it on the wall. Quote: "And you can put it in two ways: Desktop or Wall Mounted. (Size: 13.5*6.8*1.7inch) " The instructions say very clearly and in absolutes, not to mount it on the wall. I guess the storage issue is dependent on what kind of batteries you use the most of but it seems like they store a lot of 9 volt batteries compared to C and D size batteries that are much more important to me than the 9 volt ones. The same issue applies to the AA size compared to AAA. Most of my remotes take AAA rather than AAs so that's a bit of a problem for me.

Prior to receiving this battery organizer, all of our batteries were just stored in a box in the office and in complete disarray. Once we received the organizer, I took every battery we had and placed them in this item. I could not believe the amount of batteries we had as the organizer is just about completely filled. In addition, we had some loose batteries laying around the house so I was able to discard the old ones after testing them on this organizer. I even got a compliment from my wife at how organized it looks and she now knows when we need a certain type of battery by merely looking at this item. We are extremely pleased and I highly recommend it for anyone who needs any organization or a compliment.

I needed this years ago! It keeps all my batteries in one place and one quick glance lets me know what I have. I like the battery tester feature as well. I do wish it had a snap lid so I could keep the dust off the batteries when stored in my garage.

Not worth to have it for that price.

Met my needs perfectly.
