My hair has been a mess since I switched to swimming three times a week for a fitness thing I signed up for in January. Chlorine plus my usual drugstore shampoo was turning my ends into straw and my scalp felt gross by day two. A coworker mentioned she switched to something sulfate free and her hair looked shiny again, so I finally grabbed this set on a whim. First wash I noticed it didn't lather up crazy like my old stuff, which threw me off at first, but my hair actually felt clean after rinsing, not squeaky and not greasy either. The conditioner was the real surprise, it smoothed things out without making my roots feel weighed down the next day, which used to happen with heavier conditioners. It's been about six weeks of using this after almost every swim session and my ends have actually calmed down. Less frizz, less breakage when I brush it out, and it genuinely smells like a vacation, that toasted coconut scent is not overdone at all. My hair has some shine back that I honestly hadn't seen in a while. Only small thing is a little goes further than I expected so I've been using less than I thought I would, not really a complaint just something I had to adjust to. Overall this has been a solid fix for the damage the pool was doing to my hair.

I’ve been really enjoying this shampoo and conditioner. The toasted coconut scent smells so good and leaves my hair smelling fresh without being too overpowering. My hair feels clean, soft, and nice after using them. I’m definitely going to keep using these!

This product ruined my hair. My hair is long and baby fine in texture. I should have figured out something was very wrong at first use when the fragrance smelled nothing like coconut. Not even close. I didn't like the smell at all, but used it anyway because I waited too long and missed the return window. I spent $30 so thought I'd tough it out. The smell didn't bother me after a few uses then noticed immediately this damaged my hair. My hair became so brittle and dry no matter how much conditioner i used or how long i kept it in my hair before rinsing. In the morning my long hair was a rats nest and took me a while to get out all the tangles. I've had long hair for a long time and I've never had a product do this to my hair. But then it got worse. My hair started falling out in clumps. Tossed this product in the trash so fast. Worst ever. Beware if you buy!!!

I wanted to love this but it was overall an okay/decent shampoo and conditioner. Prior to this I was using honest company shampoo conditioner and body wash because it’s the only brand I truly trust on the market for body/skin products for my family especially my kids. Our oldest kid has typical mixed kid hair, textured and super tight curls so after a few years the honest hair products didn’t work as great and I was looking for something else natural with no sulfates and absolutely no artificial fragrance or endocrine disrupters. The California natural kids Curly line changed the game for us and I was so impressed that I decided to try the adult hair products for myself. It was an average shampoo and conditioner altogether. I didn’t love it but it wasn’t bad. It’s a good amount of product for the size so I’ll give it that. I got the toasted coconut scent and again it’s big for me that there’s absolutely no artificial fragrance in our products so it doesn’t make or break it for me but definitley doesn’t smell like coconut or really have a scent at all. Maybe next time I’ll try vanilla. I wanted to love it and wanted to find a natural fragrant shampoo that I’d enjoy the smell of as a bonus but this wasn’t it. As far as doing the job, it really is just an okay shampoo and conditioner. Again not bad at all, but doesn’t amaze or wow me. I will say my waves and curls look slightly more defined than when I used honest products so I’ll probably continue to use this unless I find something better. But the kids line is awesome!

I was very hesitant to buy this product. My hair was really dry and damaged from bleachings I did years ago so usually, whenever I try a new shampoo or conditioner, my hair gets stringy, like spaghetti and breaks so easily. It will also take all day and night to dry. That’s how bad my hair was. So when I came across this product I was hesitant because I was using the more known brands like Joico and that product seemed to weigh down my hair a lot. It felt like I hadn’t washed it for days. I also used Biolage and that seemed to dry my hair more even though I used the one for dry hair. I didn’t think this shampoo would be any good but saw the reviews and said why not. This product is amazing. I give it a 4.5 because I am not a fan of the smell. I am more of a citrus girly, so the smell on this one was not it for me. This one doesn’t really have a smell and it’s pretty bland. Other than that this product is amazing on my hair. It lathers up so much with just one pump and it not only does not leave my hair stringy but it dries up within an hour (air dry) and again that’s astonishing to me since it would take me all day to dry before. My hair is super soft and shiny. This product leaves my hair very light weight. This product blew my mind and I just had to leave a review for anyone dealing with the same issues I was with my hair and wanted a new shampoo to try. Amazing product!!
