motorized blidns with smart Review: It Works! - Even though the product comes with mounting hardware, it was unusable for me because I have tiled walls and I didnโt want to drill into the tile. However, I was able to mount the unit with double-sided tape by Gorilla, and itโs not going anywhere. I initially gave it a full charge before using it the first time and I also installed the provided solar panel and I havenโt needed to charge it since the first charge. It takes about 45-ish seconds to roll up about 60โ of shade, which isnโt super fast but it beats having to get out of bed to manually roll it up or down. The motor isnโt super quiet but itโs not extremely loud either. It also kind of sounds like itโs struggling - like itโs running low on battery, but itโs not. The valence mounting hardware is pretty cleaver and unique, Iโve never seen it done this way, but it makes it really easy to attach the valence. Overall, Iโm pretty satisfied with my purchase. Review: No blinds! - Sooo disappointed! Ordered 3, one is refurbished and doesnโt work, other remote doesnโt control, third actually works! But the one working remote doesnโt control all of them! Since my windows are extremely high, I cannot use without a remote! I was under the impression I could pair all 3 shades with 1 remote, (YOU CANNOT PAIR WITH REMOTE PROVIDED)! Normally I wouldnโt care, purchase an additional remote to control all, but that says it wonโt be here till the end of the month. Also will not work with Alexa, unless you purchase an additional hub (which also wonโt be here till the end of the month! Def not easy, and def not working!

Needs hub
Easy to install, but was disappointed it requires a hub for Alexa control.

Hub does not work, but there is a workaround.
Good: - minimal motor noise - Blocks out sunlight really well - Solar Panel charging is awesome. - Easy to install once you figure it out on your own - Ability to precisely customize maximum stop point for opening/closing - works really well with Broadlink RF Device Bad: - Solar panel came with big scuff marks on it, seems to work well for now, but not sure how it will last down the road - unclear and confusing instructions for installation - no way to contact seller - Seller's smart hub does not work I bought these together with the hub solely for the sake of being able to have voice activation/automation for my blinds. I had read a few people asking where to get the hub and one bad review saying there were no instructions on setting up the hub and I hoped I I could dismiss them all together as people who maybe hadn't read the product description thoroughly and did not see that the hub was listed as one of the options if you scroll right on the different sizes for the blinds or did not realize the hub was necessary. I figured maybe the actual blinds didn't include instructions for the hub, but they would be included with the actual separate hub. I was wrong. The instructions with the blinds include a symbol of the Tuya app and no further information about the Hub other than that it isn't included. The actual hub included instructions at all. Not a lick of information. The hub is a USB A dongle whereas the port on the curtains are USB C. Am I supposed to get an adapter? Am I supposed to plug it into a power block separately? Who knows?! I ended up plugging it into a power block at which point Tuya app was able to detect it, but not connect to it. With no way to contact the seller for information Amazon said my only option was to return the hub. This almost made the whole point of the blinds moot for me and I almost had to return them as well, but on the product page for a different seller's blinds I miraculously found a perfect solution. Instead of buying the hub, get a Broadlink RM 4 Pro, it's a smart universal remote that sends RF frequency signals and works really well with the blinds from a very good range(mine are about 50 feet from the broadlink and in a separate room). The frequency for the remote on mine was 433.85 which might be helpful when setting it up. Overall, could be an amazing product if there was just better communication.

Good Purchase๐๐พ Battery Life Lasts A Couple Months
I had to wait a few months before I could give a proper review. I use my motorized blinds twice a day and I intentionally didn't charge it daily just so I could see how long the battery life lasts before it dies since I saw no reviews or product details on the battery-life and how long it needs to charge or how long it can last. The battery life for these specific blinds died after 2 months of everyday use. Once I plugged in the solar panel c-port into the plug on the blinds, the blinds needed a good 24hrs charge before my remote could operate them again. *Note: My phone charger c-port didn't work for these blinds so I think these are only able to work with the solar panel c-port plug.* Don't worry about the placement of the solar panel plug, just place it on the upper left or right side of the window and make sure the location of the window is in an area that can get sunlight. Also, the blinds was easy installation once I looked up some YouTube videos. The instructions were not very clear so hopefully they can update the instruction guide in the future. Overall, I really enjoy the blinds and I'm glad it's working and charging well๐๐พ๐๐

Quit working
Worked fine for about 2 months and programmed easily. However just quit working. Everything has power and all batteries were changed, the blind just quit responding . I messaged the company and nobody has gotten back with me .

Doesn't last.
They were lovely while they worked... Ordered 2 on 03/15/24 and got almost a year out of both. One has died for an unknown reason. Tried making sure it wasn't the rechargable battery, making sure it wasn't caught or knotted up, just gave up the ghost. Not going to replace with the same unit. Died too soon.

Easy install and good price
Shades are very good. Installation took about 10 minutes. They came charged so could be used right away. Some nice touches are the valence and a screwdriver to open the remote. Setting the up/down limit on the remote took less than 5 minutes. It came with a solar panel to charge the batteries. I have only had the shades for a couple of days so I don't know how well the solar panel works yet. Price was very good.
