I was debating on which bag I should get that combines simplicity with quality and ended up purchasing this bag. It is beautifully crafted with premium materials, has many compartments to store extra. The material is strong and durable doesn't stain easily or at all. Glad I bought this bag which showcases the herschel brand at its finest.

Great material. This is my go to brand for bags. Good cost for the material plenty of room in the bag. I do wish the laptop sleeve was wider because there's room inside. This is the only reason it gets 4 stars.

After much deliberation because I really love the appearance of this bag and trying to get in the groove with its flaws I've decided to look for a better fit. First of all if you look at the picture and notice it's design it is wider on the top than it is on the bottom. I'm assuming because of this design it makes it top heavy and it falls over when you set it down making the top zipper pocket less easy to access and taking up a whole bunch more room than necessary. I store my phone and keys and a few other lightweight things I want to access with ease in that pocket like chapstick and it probably contributes but that's why I purchased a bag with a top zipper pocket. I've included pics of how it rests on its own. Note it's not buckled shut. 2nd the strap elegongates all the way half the time when I go to put it on unless I hold the handle on the bag when I put it on. The mechanism to hold the strap just doesn't grip it that tightly and if I reach for the bag haphazardly without intention to put it on carefully I'm almost guaranteed to have to fix it. 3rd I almost didn't purchase this bag because of the buckle on the strap, but I decided to buy a seatbelt cover at the same time to cushion it so it wouldn't bother me as I had no idea where it would end up landing once adjusted, I was hoping not on my shoulder. I'm 5'7" and I wear the bag on my hip & it lands about heart level on me for those wondering about it. I'm constantly having to adjust the seatbelt cover to keep it over the buckle which drives me kinda nuts. And fourth this may just be a me being particular but the strap connection style they used annoys me it doesn't stay in a streamline fashion and bunches up the strap. I'd prefer if it was sewn on or had clips. Maybe the elongation of the strap is a faulty part on just mine but there are too many things that bother me about this bag to ask for a replacement. I have to use it every single day and I don't want to be so aggravated by something I have to use with such frequency. This is my first time purchasing such an expensive bag and I wish I could say I wasn't so disappointed in it. Maybe these factors won't be as much of a concern for you but for $80 I'm not pleased with it myself although I still love the appearance and quality of material.

Nice bag that looks great at a good price. Unfortunately, the padded laptop sleeve is is not as advertised. The description says it will fit a 15-16 inch laptop, but it is too small for my 15-inch Macbook Pro. I don't see how anything larger than a 13/14-inch could fit. Since I specifically bought it for this reason, that's a bummer. If you have a smaller laptop, this would be a great bag.
