I think other customers should know, this is the second time im reviewing this freeze dried delicious tooth decayer. And it’s still delicious and cheaper than a dentist so , you can go to dental school or eat delicious freeze dried Candy. Yes I chose the candy too….

Usually freeze dried skittles melt in your mouth, these were a stale/distinct crunch. I wasn’t a fan of this brand at all.

This is a snack that my grands really enjoy.

Texture is like a puffy crunchy skittle! “Hard” candy that is a little airy in the middle, so not so hard that you can’t chew it — it sort of breaks apart or crumbles in your mouth. Very flavorful, and each has a distinctive flavor. I like my candy to have some tart, and this has a good tart taste. Has an interesting look, plan to use these in the Easter Baskets as I always like to put something in that’s unique or something my kids haven’t seen before. Not always easy as my kids are now late 20’s early 30’s, but they still want their baskets when they come home to visit. They will be a nice surprise amongst the jelly beans, with a totally different texture. I would buy these again. They do contain some fruit juices, but also contain some food dyes if you are trying to avoid. They are made in a facility that handles nuts, be aware in case of a nut allergy.

Amazing. The only complaint is I ran out too fast. Lol.

This freeze dried candy is absolutely delicious. From the very first bite you get that super satisfying crunch, but at the same time it feels light and airy and just melts in your mouth. The texture is totally different from regular chewy candy, it is more puffed and crisp, which makes it even more fun to eat. The flavor really surprised me too. It is sweet, but not overly sweet, and has a slightly citrusy, tangy kick that keeps it from being overwhelming. You grab one and before you know it you are reaching for more. It was a big hit in my house, both with the kids and the adults. Everyone loved it and kept going back for another handful. The bag size is great for sharing, and the resealable packaging helps keep everything nice and crunchy after opening. I definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys fun, unique treats with lots of flavor and crunch.

Some candy was very hard and some of it was crushed

I don’t buy freeze dried candy a ton, but I have purchased quite a bit of locally made candies similar to this one, so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. These "rainbow crunchy candy bites" are made from an off brand candy, as opposed to the "S" variety. The texture is crispy and crunchy, exactly what you want from freeze dried candy. The price is in line with most other freeze dried candies I have tried, so nothing shocking there. It’s also a nice size 14 oz bag with enough to be shared, which is great because it’s easy to snack through more than you realize. Overall, it seems to be of decent quality with no complaints from me. If I were specifically looking for freeze dried candy like this, I would totally consider this as an option again.
