These fish oil capsules are easy to take, and I like that there is no strong aftertaste. They feel clean and gentle on the stomach, and the ingredient list is simple. It is hard to measure the exact effects, but it is a solid option if you want a straightforward EPA and DHA supplement from a brand you trust.

I've been taking these supplements for several years now. They are a little big but not to hard to swallow. There is no taste and does not upset your stomach. Great high quality supplement.

About 2 months ago I started taking this EPA/DHA supplement twice a day (Morning and Evening with meals). I was having aching and pain in my joints after sitting all day at work using my computer. I have changed a few other aspects of my diet (eating little to no sugar, decreasing carbs even decreasing fruit and increasing fats) and have been taking a few other supplements (boswellia) for the past 4 months or so but when I added Pure Encapsulations EPA/DHA I really noticed a quick change. My pain is more manageable and much less. A few months ago I switch hands I use to work my mouse at work because I was in so much pain. My pain is minimal now and instead of being life impacting, I can do the tasks I was struggling with now! I just bought a second bottle of this so that I will not run out! I want to buy the liquid version for my 3 year old! Pure encapsulations has been a great brand for me and my family. My wife takes the B complex, zinc, and biotin from Pure Encapsulations. She has seen improvements with those supplements as well. Pure encapsulations is a quality brand. They are hypoallergenic. There are no added coatings, binders, shellacs, artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners or colors, fragrance or use magnesium. They do not contain wheat, gluten, nuts, egg, preservatives or hydrogenated oils. I love how simple and pure their other ingredients are. The EPA/DHA from Pure encapsulations is obtained from anchovies, sardines, and mackerel. The label reads that natural tocopherols, gelatin capsule (gelatin, glycerin, water) are the only other ingredients! I am impressed by this company! Their supplements are worth the extra money for the peace of mind that you are getting what you are actually paying for and because they do give you results! Pure Encapsulations is my go to brand.

I really like these supplements. The cost is a little high, but for the sense of peace that you know what you’re getting I feel like it’s worth it. I don’t have any adverse side effects because the supplements are high-quality. I appreciate that their packaging doesn’t have a ton of extra space like most supplements, though there is still extra packaging. I’m like other fish supplements. I do not get a fish burp after these. My bad cholesterol is lower when I’m consistently taking these.

Update 12/3/25- I gave this product 2 stars originally because I could not tolerate the fish burps. I am increasing my review to 4 starts as the customer service is excellent; they reached out in response to my review to inquire in detail what the issue was with the product. They refunded my money once I sent the email response. I am giving this product 4 stars in this update as I gave the bottle to my friend and he shared that he is not getting fish burps. Perhaps this is just a side effect for people with more sensitive stomachs. I like the Pure Encapsulations brand and I buy their magnesium at my accupuncture doctor's office every 2 months. I will continue to buy their other supplements. Original review: I like this brand a lot and use their other supplements. The fish burps with this product are horrendous and they last a while. It doesn't matter if you eat before taking them or take on an empty stomach. I can't tolerate this effect. I tried to return them after taking them every day for for 1 week. Unfortunately there is a no return policy so I'm out $65. So I will not be purchasing anything from this brand on amazon again.
