This worked really well for what I needed, the functionality is solid and it does a good job blocking weeds while still letting water through, which is exactly what you want with this kind of fabric, the material has a nice thickness and doesn’t feel flimsy or easy to tear like some of the thinner ones, it was easy to roll out and cut to size, and the lines on it actually help keep everything straight when laying it down, the size is generous so you get a lot of coverage out of one roll, and it feels like it will hold up over time without breaking down quickly, overall I think it’s a good value for the money if you’re trying to control weeds without constantly dealing with them.

This weed barrier fabric feels like one of those “workhorse” garden supplies that quietly saves you from a lot of future frustration. We’re using this as a weed barrier around our pool gate, and also planning to replace an older one at the lake that’s been down under granite for about 6 years. I used this 3 ft x 300 ft weed barrier fabric in my butterfly garden to help control weeds along the mulched walkways. I wanted something that would cut down on maintenance while still allowing water to reach the soil underneath. The roll covers a very large area, which was one of the biggest benefits for me. I was able to line multiple pathways without worrying about running out too quickly. The fabric is thinner than I expected for something labeled heavy duty at 3.2 oz. It feels more lightweight in hand, but it was still easy to roll out and position. The material appears to be woven plastic. Water does pass through it, which is important in a garden setting since I do not want runoff or pooling after rain. After installation, it laid fairly flat once secured and covered with mulch. If you are expecting a very thick, rigid landscape fabric, this may feel lighter than anticipated. If you need something that covers a wide area and allows permeability while helping reduce weed growth, it has worked well for my intended use so far.

This is a good quality woven weed barrier. It's extremely similar to the one I put down 2 years ago, which started to let a number of weeds pop through this past gardening season. With a roll this size (300' x 3'), I'll be able to use it to cover our garden twice. And if we get 2 seasons out of it each time we use it, that's 4 years of use for us, making this a very good value for the money. Of course, some people may want to use this for things other than as a weed barrier in their garden. The size of the roll gives you plenty of material to do a lot of different things with.
