Everyone should have a stack of these little envelopes. I use them for situations in which I need exact change (like bus fare, lunch or snack money for the kids), or if I need to leave discrete cash tips on the porch for the paperboy or delivery drivers. They are sturdy enough to hold coins safely, and large enough to hold several bills and change while still being small enough to pop into a pocket. I have used these to keep a few extra paperclips and pushpins safely in my handbag or a few small Band-Aids. And they're cheap enough to keep a few to give away to friends in need.
