The cuffs keep anything from going up the sleeves and the little pocket/lip at the bottom catches anything your little one may drop and stops it from getting on there bottom half as well! When we had our two girls we used to help them at meal times and the train went through the tunnel as each spoonful eas offered. Of course we always defer to our daughter; they are her boys and in truth they are both growing nicely but we think privately that with this method then the food just goes everywhere. Enter this fabulous set of no fewer than 5 waterproof smock type bibs. They fit our 1-yr-old grandson nicely. Roll up the sleeves to any jumper he might be wearing - sing the ‘bib’ song as we call it, slip his arms in, a gentle pull, a quick fasten of the hook and loop band at the back and let the action begin. He stays dry underneath and the bibs are easy to clean, unlike the floor with my aching knees, and their lightweight material means that they are comfortable and not hot. They have nice bright and varied designs and they look fabulous. They have a pocket inbuilt at the front so that some food is kept off the floor and I dare say it is also becomes apparent that at least some food is eaten along the way, too. Happy meal times.
