I love these. I had one prior and I stuck it in the dishwasher. I did learn from my mistake that the little cups inside can go in the dishwasher. The outside and the lid cannot go in the dishwasher. That was my mistake but I actually put little goodies in them and my son keeps it in his room as a little snacker during the day and then when we're going out to events it's good to put in the car or bring with you. I have four kids and it's definitely perfect for them I usually do fruits and veggies in them and then like snacks and treats and goodies in the other
