I purchased in January 2026 it is currently May 10th the mechanism on the latch is made with cheap plastic and all my dog did was turn around and it broke so this crate did not last 5 months because of the cheap plastic material in the latch and there's no way to get a replacement!! Can see in the picture the bottom right side popped right out

It looks very nice. But my dog can escape. It is not sturdy enough to keep the dog in.

I got it today. I’m super excited for this as it’ll be a huge space saver for me. I spent an hour and a half setting it up (directions are extremely easy to follow. You’ll only need an Allen wrench and Phillips head). I was SO excited to get the top on — then this. The screw holes on the top are 3/4” off center from the holes on the base AND 3/4” out (where the overhang is on the front). I did chat with Amazon. They’re sending a replacement. I’ll first see if the top from that fits, so I don’t have to reassemble the entire thing. Amazon customer service has been stellar - they’re even having a delivery driver come to my house to pick up the defective product. ADVICE: BEFORE assembling the entire thing, first check the top piece and side panels to make sure the holes line up. It’ll save you an hour to an hour and a half of time. Once the replacement is sent, I’ll update. I’d usually give this 4 stars. Decent quality - the corners have wear (to be expected from shipping wrapped particular board from China) and the lock is SUPER flimsy and doesn’t really work well. But it has a nice design and is sturdy enough for my Shih Tzu and French Bulldog. UPDATE: I contacted Amazon. It is covered by their A to Z policy. The seller sent me a new unit, I took the top part out and it fit perfectly on the assembled lower unit. It is now assembled and works well! I put the old lid in the box and sent it back (seller knows it contains a defective part. I hope they don’t resell it). The lock doesn’t work so well (the button sticks and keeps it locked) but other than that, I’m grateful for the metal bars with my teething puppy.

This crate looks great. It does take some time to assemble it but I didn't by myself. It's very solid and has quite a bit of weight to it so will not move when your dog moves around. Other posts have questioned the durability of the latch but mine has worked great for me. I can see how a hyper dog trying to get out COULD hit the button on the latch but the button faces out so may be a fluke if it happens. Easy enough to close with a reusable zip tie to be safe if you have a dog like that. I also haven't had any problems with the plastic slide breaking. Mine came with two extra ones just in case, but haven't needed them for my bull terrier. It is on the narrow side so check the dimensions, but works great for my dog

I have a boxer puppy (just turned a year old) this is the only heavy duty crate he has not been able to break out of. I wish I would have purchased this one first instead of going through several other more expensive crates first.

Do NOT buy this junk, It looks nice but will not hold up with my two 4 month old pups, the bottom of the sliding gate door is only held in place with a simple plastic tab. that broke the first week.

Ordered this kennel a month ago and was just able to put it together this last weekend when we moved into our new home. When we opened the box, we noticed the top part of one side of the kennel was damaged and had a crack in it, parts were not in their original packaging, and we had two of the same top pieces, so the hardware did not fit correctly on the one side. We were able to make it work since one dog is smaller than the other and a few zip ties. The kennel is too large to return, and we were in immediate need of the kennel for my dogs since we had gotten rid of the old ones since we were moving. Overall it works, but would have liked better quality for the money I spent on it.
