Perfect BrownTop millets... fresh stock... very rare to find them from regular brands like pronature, pure&sure, terragreen, etc. Thanks to this brand & amazon for making them available... [Updated: Its price suddenly hiked compared to what i brought... I searched with local organic shops where they sell at 180 per kg... And quality was even better than this] Millets are a healthy choice. You would definitely reorder as its good for Health & Tasty... they make your tummy full. BrownTop Millets - Telugu: Andu Korralu; Kannada: Korle * Their low GI makes them diabetic friendly. * Most digestible and non-allergic grains - gluten free. * It is rich in dietary fiber. Replace it with rice & eat them with curries... Preparation: you might observe slight green leaving in water while you wash.. i think its common... as i tried from local shops as well Soak (min 4 to 6 hrs or even overnight) 1 cup Millets with 2 cups water in a bowl - 1:2 ratio (Soak is compulsory) Pour 200ml water in electric rice cooker bowl n place the soaked bowl n let them cook.(Avoid cooking in pressure cooker) We can also prepare Bisibelebath, Kheer/payasam, Biryani... can also make Idli & Dosa. Try to have one variety of millet each day - Foxtail, Little, Kodo, Barnyard, BrownTop(rare)... avoid having mixed millets...

Millets + Stones package!
In 1 kg millet pack, it is 900 gm Millet and more than 100 gms of minute stones. What the bloody hell! I paid extra money for delivery also to receive stones which I ate! When I cooked for the first time, in every bite I was grinding stones in my mouth, and that feeling of chewing into it is the most horrible thing! When I wanted to cooked today for the second time, I tried cleaning it and in 1 spoon of millet which is so difficult to clean because of size, I got 22 stones exactly, just in 1 tablespoon of millets. Sick of sellers to sell some third grade product for money! This product can't be returned nor can be consumed. Thanks for this!
