Silverback Height Adjustable In-Ground Basketball Hoop with Tempered Glass Backboard, Pro-Style Breakaway Rim, Pole and Backboard Pad

We are loving this already! Though it did take my husband and me five days to do it. The first day was spent digging a hole 24 inches deep and 18 inches wide through limestone. On the 2nd day mixed the concrete in an older wheelbarrow that collapsed! 😂 We were successful and three days later we began putting together the rest of it. Our only complaint is that when we went to put the backboard on the 4 bolts already on the swivel head they did not line up. If we have been smart we would have tried it first on the ground to make sure they would. They were already soldered on it and it looked easy for us to just put it on over those 4 bolts. Nope! The holes on the backboard did not match up. So here are these 60+ grandparents on two ladders trying to lift the backboard over our heads and the swivel head would swivel down and the screws would only go in on one side. So finally I said let's get our 4x4 and stand in the back of it because it is stable and try to jimmy it on. It was easier standing on the 4x4 and we got a mallet to pound and get the bolts through. Probably not recommended but after much jimmying and pounding the holes got bigger and more lined up. After that was on, it was a piece of cake. The instructions are excellent. The pictures are true to size for all the bolts, nuts, etc. We especially like being able to adjust the size of the grandkids. It seems to be very sturdy and we took the time to follow the instructions for the pole in the ground. It is not going anywhere I hope in our very high winds on Lake MI.

Can't say enough good things about this product. It was delivered timely. My husband assembled by himself (only needed help with attaching backboard to pole). The bolts came in a nice bag to store. Best of all - each bolt had one extra! I have never seen a company to provide one extra anything! My family enjoyed playing basketball during the grandkids visit. A few days later a strong storm came through. I literally went outside in the night to check to see if it was still there. Yep! It had not budged. Great product! I would highly recommend!

my 18 yo varsity player loved this goal. Def easier to put together on the ground then get help setting it on the secured (in concrete) base pole.

It’s a straight forward install. The directions are clear and easy to follow. The backboard isn’t as sturdy as I’d like and neither is the pole once the ball it’s it. But, I got it while it was discounted and my children love it. You’ll need every bit of the concrete that it recommends if you dig the hole as it says. I suggest connecting the brackets & supports to the upper pole before putting it on. Put the backboard on last. It will require two people to align it.

Love the product only issue was I didnt get all the parts and had to reach out to the actual company but they did send them.

I installed this according to the directions and it has been superb. My 7 kids and the neighbors kids play on this every day. Digging the hole was the worst part, but the kids (ages 18-10) absolutely love it. It is sturdy and has been money well spent. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. After having this installed for over a year now I am updating my review. I have had many teenagers playing on this ever day. It has held up better than I ever expected. The backboard is still clear and while a little dirty is not scratched or mess up in any way. The pole and all metal has held up well and is not rusting or chipping at all. As much as I initially liked this product I am even more thrilled with the durability and quality of this product. I did wait until this product was on sale and paid $400, but even at full price i would be.more than pleased. I can't say enough good things about this.

Hi It was extremely difficult to install this hoop because of the not aligned holes for the bolts. Also bolts were larger than the holes made. It made us stranded when we had to put the frame in up there. I had to get it installed from professionals which was expensive and was not planned. I will definitely not recomment this to anyone.

Update: We sent pictures to their customer service on Tuesday and received replacement parts on Friday. Once everything was put together, it is a good goal and the kids are happy. I still feel a little unsure about the lifespan/durability of the pole itself, but everything else is great. The crank to raise/lower the goal is super easy! The customer service led this review to be changed from 1 star to 5. (Originally 1 star) Buyer beware. If we had not paid to have this in concrete, we would figure out a way to send it back. Assembly is awful. Pole does not feel sturdy and the backboard isn't even attached yet. Holes don't line up to attach the backboard. We contacted customer support and have to email pictures and they "might" send replacement parts. Buy something else. This is too big of a purchase (both dollars and size) to have this many issues.
