GORILLA All Weather Duct Tape, Black, 1.88" x 25 yd

This stuff finally solved our insulation issue with our floor to window AC unit. No other tapes would continue to stick to the window frame for more than a few hours from the heat output. I tried 4 other tapes and was about to just caulk it when I found this. This FINALLY heat proofed the window and held against the heat output. No heat leaked inside, no cool leaked out, everything was finally calm and settled and working. It was an amazing feeling. Now... taking it off... lol. Let's just say a couple months later and the window frame is still covered in black glue that we just haven't wanted to deal with attempting to get off of it. That's the only downside to this tape. It's super thick, super sturdy, surprisingly easy to rip, and does it's job without complaint. It STICKS to anything - I'm pretty sure I lost my fingerprints taping that window up (kinda funny but also serious). So if you're here looking for a tape to stand up against the summer heat and a floor AC unit vent, you finally found it. Relax, click purchase now, and wait for salvation, lol. Just be aware it does not come off clean.

This tape just works and works well. It can be used for anything and I often use it for both temporary and permanent fixes. The material makes it great for quick water leak prevention around the bathroom. It is very sticky, but if you have the right cleaning items, you can remove this from most materials without any permanent residue. Overall, a very thick and durable duct tape.

Very sticky and waterproof. I wouldn’t put it on anything you ever wanted to take it off of and don’t stick it to yourself.

Gorilla Tape definitely does what it advertises. It is SUPER adhesive and stays put. So lets start with that. Pros: Super adhesive Relatively easy to rip Pretty heavy duty However, using this stuff can be kind of a pain. Cons: Plastic wrapping doesnt like to come off easily It might almost be TOO adhesive as it doesnt come of the roll without a fight Once applied, good look getting it off something without residue Pro tip: To get off the residue after removing, use a bit of WD40 with some Goo Gone and plenty of elbow grease. Overall: Product doesnt exactly what is says, but be careful that you're using it for things that you don't plan on undoing.

Thick and sticky tape that I used for some insulation boards. Covered the gaps well and seems to hold. The boards were used as a bottom platform for my above ground pool and I needed a good tape that would keep them together without being able to feel the minor gaps in between. Did the job

I bought this tape because I have a very expensive pair of Italian black rubber spa sandals I have been wearing for years. They are starting to crack and fall apart; got to the point of being unwearable. I can't bring myself to spend the cash for a new pair, so I got this tape and wrapped it around the torn strap that goes over the foot. It holds beautifully and stays in place. Today a sole suddenly split; once more, the shoe was unwearable. Grabbed my tape and wrapped a couple layers of it over the split sole (and intact insole): the shoe is perfect to wear now. I wear these shoes outside and if my strangely critical neighbors notice they are held together with duct tape, it's their problem; not mine. I don't care! The shoes are comfortable and I don't have to spend a huge wad of cash on new ones (while adding to the landfill). Fixing old things and keeping them useful is the road to happiness (almost).

My grill cover got a hole from rubbing on the brick exterior in the wind. The new cover is somewhere in the neighborhood of $70 and I figured it would just get another hole, so I was looking for a solution to patch the hold rather than replace the cover just to replace it again. I came across this tape and thought I'd give it a try, worst case scenario, I have to replace the cover. I have to admit I was nervous given the reviews. I would comment that there are several types of Gorilla tape, not clear if some folks have had experience with some of the others and commented on this or what has happened, but for me this worked just as they claimed. When I opened the wrapper it seemed like the edges of the roll were stickier than the average duct tape so I was wary as some reviews mention this being incredibly sticky but the product description states it should not be overly sticky to the touch. Once I started to pull the tape off the roll, which is a little tough, I found the product description to be accurate. I did not have any sticky residue on my fingers. I did have trouble tearing it, so I used scissors to cut it and no residue left on the scissors. I cleaned the surfaces the the grill cover well and layed it on a flat surface so the tape would be sure to stick and apply flat. I applied a piece to both the inside and outside of the cover. Instructions say to rub vigorously once applied, which I did. I do have one edge that seems to be less sticky or not adhering as well as the rest, it happens to be the first edge that pulled off the roll. I'll have to keep an eye on that and see if it starts to pull up or if I'll need to try to pull that piece off and try again. If so I'll update on that process. Overall, it seems to be as advertised, application was super easy, and we'll see how it holds up to the summer weather. I just got it and applied it today, so I will update if it doesn't hold well.

Very durable. It kept our garage screen cover intact since the screen tore off a little bit. Regular tape its unravel due to the climate but with this, it kept it sealed. Definitely sticky that I had to store this in a ziploc bag cause the outer part of the roll is sticky too.

自転車カバーが所々破れる様になってきたので、こちらの全天候オーケーなテープを購入。 今のところ、雪と雨でも大丈夫でした（次の日剥がれてることはない ） しっかりと補修できてるかなと。テープにしては少々高いけど、買って良かったです。

There are some parts of which the sticky areas where left on top of the tape but otherwise quite a good product. Have not seen a leak yet but seems to be able to hold.

Works amazing in all weather conditions! Held up my screen to keep bugs out, was taped to a medal frame threw the whole summer.
