1460 SR

I've been wearing Dr Martens since I was a teen (roughly a couple decades ago 🫣) and the 1460s are the absolute tops. The leather is SOFT and even the top of the toe box and heel are flexible enough to bypass the traditional break-in period. They'll still need to be broken in, but after a few days of wear and no blisters, here I am with 5 stars. Classic 🤌

I work in the receiving area of a large retailer. In the winter I need heavy socks and I have had to wear insoles for cushion and support for a few years. My fee are very wide. I ordered, as usual two sizes too big, to be able to fit all that. These boots are soooooo comfy and supportive, I don't think I need my insoles. They fit as I expected, just wide enough and too long. If your feet are "regulat" wide, these will probably fit you. If you wear insoles for any reason other than cushion or arch support, these boots will be tight. I'm wearing them today and expect them too be comfy (and too long, as is my fate - my feet are seriously short and wide). If my experience is any different, I will add to this post. Ok - These boots give great support - i discovered i don't need my inserts. I have bursitis in my heels and might eventually need some additional squishy there but the sole of thes boots is great. SO. I spent the last month exchanging and exchanging (i love Amazon) to figure out what my real size is. I got them and love them. If you're switching from regular docs, the leather is much stiffer on these and the boots are heavier. And the sole is more everday working on your feet with heavy stuff friendly. My feet are very wide so with the stiffer leather i am having a but of breaking in which i never had with my other docs. If you have extra extra eide feet that might be a problem. Overall these are great boots for work. Big thumbs up!

These boots are nice. Leather is quite stiff so the boots require breaking in before you do any long physical activities in them. I'm usually a women's size 8.5 or even 9 sometimes, but the size 8 are perfect for me. They will feel a little tight at first, but the Leather will stretch wider to mold to your foot over time. As long as your toes aren't touching the front of the boot, you're good. I did have to swap out the insoles for something a little more supportive and cushiony. The insoles in these boots are not great. They'll grip onto your feet to prevent friction, but they're not soft or bouncy. They made my feet numb, but swapping them out has helped a ton.

Let's get this out of the way from the top: Doc Marten boots are actually NOT good boots! They use really low quality leather and the soles are heat bonded to the boot. You can not re-sole these boots. Also they have NO SHANK so they offer very little support. They only come in full sizes, so if you are unsure of fit the best bet is to go to a physical store and try some on before ordering. Now with that out of the way... These boots do not, as I stated pre-edit "Break in" fast. Gone are the days of Doc's breaking in and fitting your foot comfortably. These are nothing like pre-90's Doc's! Seven months of light wear and the leather has softened up with the usual mink oil treatment. The exterior of the boot still looks good, as does the exterior of the sole. HOWEVER the inside of the boot has "Broken Down" the padding is as good as a sheet of paper, the seam across the top of the boot at the first eyelet that usually is a tough spot to loosen up and break in has still not broken in. The boots at this point are good for a quick walk across a parking lot in the rain, but not much else. They are going in the trash bin once this review is posted. By contrast I bought a pair of used, made in the 1980's docs that were "near new" and they are night and day to what these boots are. Nostalgia is one Hell of a drug, but that drug is not enough to numb the foot pain these boots that "Break down" and not "Break in" cause.

I love my docs couldn't be happier. Even ordered my wife a pair she also loves them. We get compliments about them at work. Best work boot ever.

En la caja lleva consigo un folleto donde no te queda duda de la calidad y características de las botas. Algo excepcional que no conocía de unas dotas de esta marca fue la plantilla que las hacen mucho más cómodas. Ya sea por el modelo o por las características me quedé muy facinada en la adquisición, son mate y aunque dice para mujer ,me parecen más unisex. Muy recomendable adquirirlas ya que vienen de importación y el precio fue lo mejor, vale la pena la espera
