Great shifters. Work very well and easy to install

Want to replace my old set and didn't want to break the bank. Settled on this product based on prior reviews and price point.Easy install.Have been riding daily with them for a week or so with no issues. Smooth shifting.Will update if any problems come up.

I had to replace my old front derailleur gear shifter because it only stayed on first and second gears but not on third. It was tricky to install this due to a handle grip was in the way. I used compressed air of computer dust cleaner and the grip came right off (thanks to you-know-who). Now, I have a brand gear shifter and brake lever, which is plus. I have had it for a month and it has been working pretty well. Only complaint I have is it is hard to see which gear is selected.

Clean combo and smooth shifting

Great shifters for an amazing price. Took it to the bike shop and was installed quickly. It feels like the first shifts the bike came with. I would highly recommend these shifters.

Perfect replacement fit for V-brake on a Raleigh mountain bike from the 90's. It comes with the gear shift cables attached, you thread them through the existing covers. It does not include the brake cables, you reuse the old ones. I didn't understand that and took the rear brake cable apart needlessly. It does not include the crimp on cable ends you will need when you cut the cable to length.

Installed easily, if one has done some minor matinence on bicycles. Most parts are made of plastic, so there is a little play, or wabblyness , to all the moving parts and controls. That is fine and expected given the price point, but the gear indicator dial broke after about a month of normal use I assume the plastic could not take the repeated moving under the tension of the mechanism.Overall I got what I expected for what I invested

Ordered this set to replace an older worn out set. Had to remove the handle grips to install and I ended up replaced the cable housing. I should have ordered metal end caps for the cable housing. After installing, the cable housing outer jacket pulled back and went inside the shift lever housing and jammed. I kind of new not having end caps may cause an issue. I'm mentioning just to help anyone else planning on replacing the cable outer jacket/housing.My only complaint is brake cable adjusters on levers are a bit sub-par and the locking not is non-functional - just spins and won't lock. I was hoping I could use the adjusters off my old levers, but the thread pitch is more course.Overall, I was able to quickly install the set and much better shifting than my old shifters. You may want to get new handle grips - since you need to remove them to install these, and brake shifter cables with end caps if yours are damaged like mine were.
