So, I had thought I wrote this review months ago, when I first got the case and put it through its paces. The short version of what I would have said back then would have been: Amazing value for the money, waterproof, rugged, and very impressive. Handles drops and water no problem and honestly easier to use day to day than lifeproof. After 8 months of use, I finally broke the case today. There was a relatively heated incident that involved a phone being thrown across multiple dusty/rocky fields and slammed on the ground on concrete. After all of that, the phone is completely fine and the case finally gave in. I still can not say enough how surprisingly awesome this case has been and how much overall BETTER than lifeproof it is for 25% of the price. That said, here are the weaknesses: 1. The screen protector/back cover both scratch relatively easily. Depending on what made contact, it can sometimes leave ugly chips on the protector. Function is unchange, phone is undamaged, but worth noting. 2. The fingerprint scanner spot feels relatively flimsy, and after long use, starts to become loose and makes fingerprint unlock less accurate. Still waterproof and works overall, but still a minor quibble. 3. Extreme drops/force can sometimes pop the case open. Generally, phone will survive just fine, but has high risk of eventual damage of the phone.

Very sturdy! Bought thus for my husband. Well...he accidentally left it on the roof of my car when we were heading home. When the light turned green I stepped on the gas & saw something fly off my car. I was like what the heck was that? He said I don't know; wait where's my phone?! Turned around to get it thinking it would be shattered from the hard landing on the road. Turns out it didn't even have a scratch! Very strong case!!! We definitely recommend for clumsy people like us! LOL

I was pleased with the quality of this case until I realized my charging cable male end wouldn't fit to charge my phone through the opening. The opening is slightly off center and/or too small for any slightly larger male connections than the cables that came with the phone. ... [Update 6/26/23] Here's the 10 ft charging cord I got that fits this phone case's charging port perfectly! = AINOPE USB C Cable 10FT Type C Charger Fast Charging 3.1A iPad Pro Charger Cable Durable Nylon Braided USB A/C to USB-C Cable for iPad Pro/AIR/Mini 6 MacBook Galaxy S23 S22 21 S10 Note I've taken the case out only a few times as I was using the old case primarily. All the buttons on the sides are perfectly responsive with only the resistance of the rubber material itself. The fingerprint reader works good; Tip is to make sure you clean the reader on your phone and remember to take off the protective shipping material on the case. True water test not yet properly tested, but have high hopes. Wouldn't try and dive/swim with it, though. The only true hole in the case when all ports are sealed is the small hole at the top right (which I believe is the main antenna for calls, etc) But as long as your phone is snug, I don't think it'll leak into the case. I've dropped my phone without this case into the ocean and had to take off the back panel for the phone to completely dry and come out of water detection alert. Staying shallow to merchandise specification depths will probably be fine as I'm assuming water pressure wouldn't overcome the air pressure in the case; Perfectly fine for rain or accidents. [8/28/23] Audio Jack Cover tore off Not sure how this happened. Probably because it wasn't pushed in flush to the case when I put it in my pocket. Guess it's typical with flexible rubber parts.

I am very satisfied The case is sturdy and I like that It will not only protect my phone from hits, but also from dust and water. The case preserves the quality of the pictures at the front and rear cameras It is light weight, but it definitely adds some volume to the phone, which I consider fine. (Low profile cases will not provide as much protection. The plastic on the finger print reader is very thin but, after one month of use, is working fine. You can leave the power port open to enhance the quality of the sound trough the speaker and the microphone.

So far, so good. It seems really sturdy and I'm happy with the screen protector. I was even able to turn off the increased screen sensitivity and the phone still works great. The only issue that I've come across so far is that I had to take it back apart and reposition my phone because I failed to line everything up on the first attempt. The volume buttons worked fine, but the power button on the other side did not. I removed the phone and repositioned it and now they all work great, obviously my fault for not checking it on the first try. It was not easy to get back apart, which I judge as a good thing beacuse that means if I drop it on the floor that it is very unlikely to pop apart and let my phone itself get damaged. Also, there is even a film over the fingerprint scanner and it still reads my fingerprint perfectly. I'm very pleased thus far, but will update this review if I run into any issues.

Case is fine. It passed the initial waterproof test fine however I can't speak for actual waterproofing abilities in reality since I have only put my phone in this case ONCE! Upon placing my phone in the case and securing the frames I proceeding to attempt to charge my phone which I was unable to do. This case is a enormous struggle to open. Everytime I have to open it I'm worried I will dent the plastic frame or puncture or damage the plastic film for the back and front or snap one of the clips securing the two frames together. I understand the frames need to be properly secured together and this case seems like it could provide pretty good damage resistance. HOWEVER, how helpful is a case if you need to remove it everytime you need to charge it?! Especially when that case is a huge ordeal to remove?! For the record I don't have some crazy huge charging cable. The charging cable I have works with every other phone case I have had for this phone. Kind of makes this case useless if I have to remove my phone from the case everytime I need a charge which could be as much as twice a day. The only usefullness to me of this case now is if I specifically know I'll be going somewhere the phone could get wet or damaged by dirt, dust, sand or moisture. I mean, most of the time these things happen it's when you're not expecting it right? Thanks for a great phone case which looses it on one of the most important features. Didn't check the headphone jack port but I can only imagine a similar issue occuring.

I gave it 5 because I wanted water proof case, and it is VERY TIGHT (hard to take off) case. 18$ to achieve my goal is GREAT! I will not use it to protect my phone from dropping...just water shots with an deactivated phone that will be used for maybe wifi, until the apps are non functionable or use it to download my water shot photos/movies. I will see when I go on vactation if it is water proof. Yes, it has a thin layer by camera that looks like it can get ripped very easlily, I will probably will tape it so it is more stronger. I think it is for thumb print lock? C plug can go in. White cloth did not put dust on case. I did have extreme difficulty to the point I thought I could not even get the case off my phone because it is really really tight but I did what they said and FINALLY DID pry the bottom up. Once my phone is deactivated, then I will use this case and put my name and phone number in and out and hopefully no one can remove the case easily and then get it back if it is found.

I have owned this case sept early September and I love pretty much everything about the case - it protects all aspects of my phone without adding too much bulk/weight, its clear back allows my phone's actual color to show, and my phone still functions as expected. There is only 2 drawbacks - the fingerprint scanner cover is a thin plastic-ish (think the really old, thin 90s era USA grocery bags) material that sometimes gets in the way of the actual reader. Its keeping my phone SO safe, that I cannot get my phone out of it to clean it and its driving me insane. My kids have somehow managed to get a singular crumb between the screen protector and my phone, right in the middle of my screen, and I'm scared I'll crack the case with the amount of force its taking to get the two pieces apart. I'd still absolutely recommend this case to anyone with an older phone who wants to keep protecting it, even if it does its job a little too well!

I really like this case, previously I had a lifeproof one which had a plastic back with an opening for the camera, lights and fingerprint reader. The LP one worked pretty well and was smaller than this one all round, but I would say this one is better. The front screen cover fits great and sticks to the screen, responsiveness for the touchscreen is seamless and unlike the lifeproof there's no problem fitting the silly galaxy warp around screen. It makes the phone a bit wider and longer because of the rubber edge, but allround a great fit. However larger audio plugs won't fit in the 1/8" jack due to the case thickness, my lifeproof came with a little screw in waterproof audio extender thing which was really neat, but I never used it, just go bluetooth and you're golden. All round, super happy with this one. Highly recommend it.

Very durable phone case, charger port cover did manage to get pulled off very shortly after, but i managed to loose it in the snow and run it over with a vehicle to find 30 mins later. Phone is still perfectly fine and so is the case. Just cannot seem to get the case off to clean under ocassionally, have to call for assistance
