LOVE THIS COFFEE!
LOVE this coffee, and usually buy it in the 500 gram tin. These 100 gram packets are wonderful for gifts, for friends to try, or take along when you travel. If unfamiliar, youtube "Turkish coffee" and see how it is supposed to be prepared (in a special small copper pot - ibrik - but also very doable in any small vessel on a low fire. CANNOT go in a conventional coffee machine or French press. The grinds are like talcum powder and will clog, and prevent dripping. Boil it on low, pour it into a cup, add sugar if desired, stir, let sit for the grinds to settle at the bottom and enjoy a cup. NO MILK. After all, you want a new experience, otherwise there are so many normal grinds or pods for filtered coffee. Be adventurous! Try something new! Hope you will like it.

Fresh and delicious coffee
Fresh, excellent tasting Turkish / Greek coffee. The sealed package is so well made that it stayed airtight despite poor shipping by Amazon. (The package was thrown in with sharp items which scratched the soft bag.) The coffee's manufacturer is well-known for its quality and has been in business since 1871. You can also buy the gift set that includes the proper cooking vessel for this coffee. Great value!

Nostalgic flavor
Just like being in Istanbul. We used to line up for the freshest roast at the little shop near the Egyptian Spice Bazaar. Great taste.

[This is not about the quality of the product] The one I received from Amazon was not the freshest coffee. If I find it elsewhere, I won't buy it from Amazon because I can at least see the expiration date!

This taught me what REAL Turkish Coffee is!
If you want to try Turkish coffee, this is the reference standard! I'm using a Sozen grinder (also bought on Amazon) and used this pre-ground powder to dial in the Sozen, til it matched the same fineness. Freshly roasted/ground coffee cannot be beat. But, if you don 't have access to make/grind your own, this is the next best thing! Definitely recommend!
