I use this when I'm hunting. I'll attach it to my belt and it's pretty lightweight. I really helps keep your butt warm and dry when you're sitting. I couldn't imagine not having this with me in the woods. I'll also use it when I'm sitting in my treestand and it makes the seat much more comfortable and warmer. It is thick enough to give you some cushion and warmth, but not too thick that it's too heavy.

Perfect for needs, works good, comfortable to sit on

It is easier to move around with than hot seats that I have used in the past, however hotseats were more comfortable. I do wish it was a little softer, it's pretty firm but is better than sitting on a rock or log. The size allowed me to tuck it up inside the back of my jacket and walk around without any problem. A little expensive for what it is but I would buy again if needed.

Fantastic seat...quiet and keeps you butt dry

I had been looking at several different cushions of various sizes and thicknesses. I decided on this one due to the basic seat size and the thickness shown in the image....which it turns out is about twice as thick as the actual product. So disappointed. But went back and read the description and it says it is 3/4" thick (not the 1.5 to 2" thickness the image portrays). So they got me with the fake picture. All that being said, it worked well enough for what I needed which was as a cushion on a flat rock by a fire pit. It insulated from the cold and was softer than the rock, so basically was what I needed. I'm keeping it, but will make an effort not to buy anything else from this seller.

Definitely helps while photographing sports since I have sciatic nerve damage.

This pad is both comfortable and convenient. I think the size is just right and the weight is inconsequential when clipped to my day pack. The only modification I made is to use some double stick tape to add a scrap of cloased cell foam packing material to the bottom. I live and go outdoors in the desert. There are no shortage of stickers, needles and thorns here. Having an extra layer on the bottom keeps me from sitting on the wrong side and receiving a poke from a ride along from my last use!
