Neon Pink by Milton-Lloyd for Women - 3.4 oz EDP Spray

My favorite perfume!

This is my 3rd [purchased the 4th one weeks later] purchase. Since I love the Sky Blue, I wanted to play perfume roulette and give this a go. These are the notes provided by the official website of Milton Lloyd, the name behind Colour Me : [[The sparkling top notes of green mandarin are boosted with aquatic notes of water jasmine and fiery ginger lily on a sensual luminous salted vanilla heart. The base notes are warm sandalwood, rich cashmere and tenacious ambergris.]] NOW THIS PERFUME is supposed to read aquatic. My spouse loves this fragrance on me, but I have ONE issue: its smells like bitter orange rinds!!!! I mean this perfume does a wonderful job playing with my head because my spouse tells me I smell like a beautiful aquatic citrusy floral, yet I cannot for the life of me smell flowers!!!!!! ALL I SMELL: rind, rind and more rinds. Like when you open an orange with your fingers and since you have dug your nails into the zest and rinds: EXACTLY THAT SMELL!!! No floral scent, just overpowering bitter rind and zest. Which is such a disappointment since the notes stated sound like a beautiful mix!!! I'm torn here. I'm rating it a 5* because my spouse tells me I smell like the notes described, yet all I smell is bitter zest and rinds!!!😫😖. If you want to try this perfume out you will either smell the notes as stated or like me, bitter rinds. I will use up this perfume but will not repurchase. Perfume lasts 12 hours!!!

Love this fragrance.

This perfume is advertised as lasting 6 hours, and it definitely delivers. I sprayed one spray on my wrists and another in front of me and walked into it. It was absolutely overwhelming the entire day! It is a very heavy scent so if you pick up scents for any reason (smoker, work somewhere with food/chemical smells, etc) this will do a good job covering them up. My sister works as a restaurant manager and she always complains of smelling like a fryer oil, and she really liked how strong it was. I personally am not a fan of the scent or the strength, but scents are very subjective (I normally like light woodsy/earthy scents - think hippie lol). I would also not suggest to wear this if you work in an office or other closed environment, as your coworkers will likely not appreciate it.

I get compliments from both women and men every single day I wear it. It's soft and feminine without being flowery or powdery. Packaging is a bit excessive but overall this is worth every cent. Wish they had lotion and bath products! This is my third purchase. I keep one in my car, the body spray in my gym bag, and one at the house! Update 2023. I'm still using this and am buying my 8th bottle of it. Still get compliments on a daily basis.

I wanted to try this Colour me Neon Pink scent because of the initial description of an “oriental, floral woody scent.” I usually like woody and oriental fragrances. But to me, the overwhelming notes are flowery and sweet. I’m not getting the woody scent at all. Other descriptions of this perfume are: “A blend of almond blossom, white rose, geranium, vanilla, and musk notes Top notes : Citrus Mandarin, Ginger | Middle notes : Floral, Ozonic, Jasmin | Base notes : Woody, Vanilla, Musks” I think maybe it tries to be too many things and only the floral and vanilla really come through. There are lots of fragrances that change after a while on my skin and this is one of those. But even spraying it on a tissue or fabric doesn’t produce the woody or musky scents. It also comes out of the nozzle a little too strongly. It’s hard to disperse just a small amount. I don’t think this perfume smells bad, it’s just not distinctive.

WOWZER, after seeing reviews about this brand I thought ill try a bottle so went for the Neon Pink, shocked 😲 and surprised how beautiful it smells and the bottle and case is ace. I now want to try them all, quite skeptical about buying perfume i can't smell but this is a beauty
