Simple, direct operation
you shut the lid, it comes on. Pull the little tab, it opens the top & starts to slow. It brakes pretty quickly. Exactly what we wanted. We use this to spin qPCR plates and strips. We put in a pair of those plate holders that just stay in all the time.
