Rock Paradise 1 (ONE) Large Black Tourmaline Rod with Mica Inclusions - Powerful Energy - Over 1/2 lb from Brazil Exclusive COA

This was definitely worth the money. It is a wonderful size and sparkles in the sunlight. Is it giftable? I hope so because that is what I bought it for, my friend's birthday. I know he will like it because it looks better than the one I bought at La Brea Tar Pits and that was picked out by me. About presentation, I don't understand why they ask that question. You receive an uncut raw stone, it is in a plastic bag and bubble wrap at arrival. Big deal! You want what is inside the package, if giving as a gift you would probably wrap it differntly anyways.

As soon as I opened the box & reached for the bubble-wrapped lg. chunk of black tourmaline, I felt a cool upward rush inside me like a spigot of cool water got turned on. I've been under long period stress from negative energy which had depleted my vitality. I felt my crushing fatigue lifting immediately, as well as my depression - just by holding this amazing piezoelectric black tourmaline stone in my hand...in stark contrast to what I felt a moment before. I'm one of those hyper-sensitive individuals who can feel the cummulative effects of electrosmog in my environment, as well as hear frequencies & geopathic vibrations. When I'm over-tired, these become more pronounced and I have trouble falling asleep, so don't get enough restorative rest. It's both a gift & a curse, believe me. It's like when you become visually over-stimulated around too many clashing colors & patterns that you can't look at them anymore & want to close your eyes! Recently, I've been working to clear a very negative entity attachment in a friend's home, and found myself under psychic attack in my dreamstate - night after night. I'm using black tourmaline & charged selenite in tandem to clear both the environment @ my friend's place & remove any residual carry-over into mine. This is working extremely well, and I am very pleased with the quality & size! Please be aware that obsidian, onyx, lava stone, shungite - although black stones - do not have the same properties of black tourmaline, which is 'piezoelectric'... therefore not interchangeable. Do some research into the science behind the differences....e.g. Shungite is especially known for absorbing excess emf due to its crystalline carbon-60 fullerene content.

This is a beautiful rock it is so large it I have to hold with both hands. I displayed it on this tray. I loved the energy and the great value of this piece so much I ordered another for my alter. Black Tourmaline is for purification, Protection it's believed to be a purifying stone that deflects and transforms negative energy and thus is very protective. It is also believed to bring emotional stability. Love my Rocks and Crystals I will be a return customer of Rock Paradise.

Love my new tourmaline crystal! I know with ordering these kinds of items offline you don't really know the quality of the stone you'll get, especially through Amazon, but I'm very pleased with the one sent. It's not solid tourmaline, there's a considerate amount of mica in this piece, but I love the imperfections and think it's beautiful! It has great energy and makes a great addition to my home office. These pictures don't really do it justice!

Weighs 0.43 lb (about 7 oz), just under half a pound. I'm going to keep it, because holy cow I can already feel the healing from this thing, but I'm ever so slightly annoyed at the product description that states "OVER 1/2 POUND." Anyway, the stone is beautiful, heavy, and clean. I own many pieces of black tourmaline from local gem suppliers, and this one looks and feels real (I'd wager it is). It is slightly smaller than the product photo suggests. I'm a petite female with small hands; my piece is about 3" long. See my photo for scale. Regardless of its weight, this is still a huge gemstone, and I'm going to place it under my bed. I plan to get four more for the outside corners of my house for a protective grid. Black tourmaline absorbs negative energy and therefore needs to be cleansed and charged regularly. It is a fantastic stone to keep outdoors because it will be regularly cleansed and charged by the sun and moon, with virtually no additional upkeep from you. Recommended; just know your piece may be slightly under half a pound, as mine and many other recent reviewers have received.

Pictures of stones in people's hands are difficult to gauge when looking on the Internet. I, too thought the stone would be longer BUT the piece I got is magnificent! It has little flashes of mica, too. I didn't weigh it but I believe it is close to the .5 pound that was promised. I recently purchased another piece of tourmaline that was 1/2 the size of the piece that I just received and it cost $40.00. The packaging was done well and the tourmaline came in one unbroken piece. In my mind, I got a steal from Rock Paradise and will purchase from them again. Thank you.

I got a nice big 12.5 oz piece and while it does have a good bit of mica it's a nice interesting looking stone. I would have liked a stone with more tourmaline, because that is what I was buying it for and the main photo makes it look like you will be getting a full piece of tourmaline with minimal inclusions of anything else. But for the money I guess I can't complain. They do say with mica inclusions and the pictures they provide show that this is a possibility. Just know you might not get a stone that is pure tourmaline like a lot of the listing's photos show.

Beautiful stone! Arrived next day!!! Packaged very well and with care in bubble wrap and large bubble mailer. It feels great to hold in hand — weighty. Earlier I posted a question regarding “sealing” the stone with something to prevent it from flaking and crumbling when holding it (I largely wanted to use this stone for holding in hands while meditating), and I answered my own question. I don’t know if this would be an answer for those looking to access healing energies from the stone— but if you’re objective is otherwise and you’d like a quick and easy solution to the flaking quality of this fragile stone, I sprayed mine with hairspray as an experiment and so far has worked great. After spraying I let it sit on paper towel for about half-hour to dry and no longer sticky. The stone feels wonderful to hold in hand. (Don’t know if it matters but I use Bed Head hairspray.). So far, it’s a quick and easy fix to apparent common issue with this particular stone.

Horrible, I bought it because it says one piece and I received a box of broken rocks , durty and full of soil. I do not recommend . I am aking amazon for a refund. On top the box came from China ... not Brazil as add says.
