HEYDUDE Men's Wally Golf Essentials Slip On Golf Shoe | Spikeless Traction

Let me preface this review by saying I’m a “beginner” golfer, although I’ll get to something on that shortly. I was looking for a pair of shoes for my birthday before my best friend, who is also going to buy these soon if I don’t for him, took me for a round. They arrived, I put them in my car, drove out to the course and tossed them on for the first time. They felt… different? Coming from someone that primarily wears Nike or Stan smiths day to day and was holding in SBs before, these felt instantly amazing. After taking a few steps and swings on the range prior to the round, I couldn’t stop saying, “now I understand why there are actual golf shoes.” Not that it helped much with my driver (skill issue). Straight feedback: I wear a size 13 normally, maybeeee could have gone for a 12.5 here but I like having the little extra room (talking less roomy than Nike SBs but less roomy than Stan smiths). Overall the fit is great at my regular size. They are extremely comfortable, both the material and feel of the sole. I love just being able to slip them on and be ready to go. I also have had no issues with pointy parts in the lining as some others I’ve read about above this price point have. I’ve played 5-6 rounds so far and would feel comfortable walking a course in them, I just prefer to cart around. I have no issues with slipping and feel a lot more comfortable on the greens putting, I’m not sure why, but it does. There aren’t any issues with wear and tear of the material and as you can see from my swing, they take a little abuse. You honestly probably can’t beat a pair of golf shoes at this price point less it’s a super marked down pair you find once every 3 years at your local Marshalls. That being said, I haven’t tried on a ton of other pairs, but I’ll be sticking to Hey Dudes for a while and will most likely buy a pair that aren’t golf specific soon. HIGHLIGHT… I hit a 117 the 4th round with these at my local regular course, then played the next day solo and hit my best ever, 101. hese Hey Dude golf shoes are incredibly comfortable right out of the box! They’re lightweight, supportive, and provide great traction on the course. I can wear them for an entire round without my feet getting tired. Definitely a great combination of comfort, style, and performance. Highly recommend!

Got these for my husband for Father’s Day, he loves hey dudes and loves golfing, so I thought they would be perfect. He loves the look of them, but after a day of golfing he did say they didn’t have enough ankle support. But overall, he really likes them and says they are just as comfortable as regular Hey dudes.

My son wears these to his golf team every day. He said they are comfortable and fit well. They can be tossed in the wash for easy cleaning and have good traction on a rain day.
