The second flush refers to the harvest that takes place from late spring to early summer. During this period, the tea leaves mature under the perfect combination of warm sunlight and mountain mist, developing a rich, complex flavor. Muscatel, often described as having a sweet, fruity, grape-like note with hints of honey and a touch of spiced nuttiness, is a prized hallmark of these teas. Decent product, but quality appears to have been compromised.
Even though packed in March 23, the tea is not smelling garden fresh! Goodricke needs to find out the reason. Naturally its low on flavour that Darjeeling teas are known for. All this despite the seller being Goodricke itself.
