This set of gallon size jars are great. Glass is thick enough to avoid cracking. The lids fit perfectly. Placed on a kitchen counter creates an atmosphere of a cozy kitchen. I store dry goods in them. Loose leaf teas, flour, dried berries, anything of the sort maintains freshness.

Lids
Nice jars but if you tighten the lids which you should, my lids are hard to get off. Im making sun tea and whether I bring it in from outside or take it out of the fridge, the lids are hard to get off. Then if I don't tighten then it leaks. If it wasn't for the lids I would have given it 5 stars.

Large Wide Mouth Jugs
Bought these after my last one was lent out to a borrower of no return. These are quality jugs with a plastic coated lids which are perfect for pickled eggs. One jug will hold two dozen large eggs. The other jug I use for storing flour. I'm actually going to buy another two for storing sugar or whatever. These jugs are huge and I can reach right in it with my large hands. definitely worth buying.
