Exactly what I needed for new metal building 1800 SF with 12' Walls
I was looking for lighting options for my new shop (30'x60' Metal building) and having built a few shops in my life I knew that I wanted a good bit of light which also usually means spending a good bit of money. I poured my slab and erected the Red Iron portion of my shop and had a guy come in and install the insulation and the metal sheeting, as I had never done this before so I felt more comfortable paying someone that does it for a living to do it right and not worry about leaks. When he began installing the insulation and metal I asked him if he knew what type of lighting might be best for my building? he told me that he built another shop for a friend of his and that he had used LED lighting "which I knew from research was pretty costly" He went on to say that his friend told him it was very cheap and the lighting was excellent so he purchased a 12 pack of these lights for his own building and was surprised to see how well they worked, so with that being said I asked him to send me the information for the lighting...I was very skeptical about the lighting when it arrived even tho it had a lot of good reviews, but they were mostly reviews from people who had installed one or 2 in their houses with low ceiling heights "my shop walls are 12' tall with a max height of 15' in the middle and I had planned to install the lights directly to the perlins at about 13'. Upon receipt of the first 12 pack that I ordered all of the lights appeared to be in great shape and had all the hardware with them... They are VERY light weight. Upon instillation of the first 12 lights I plugged them in and WOW they were Much better than I expected, but because of my personal lighting requirements I decided to order some more, but ING had stopped selling the 12 pack bundles so I ordered 2 packs of 8 each for a total of 16 extra lights, when in reality I only needed 6 more to complete the celing lighting but figured I would just get a few extra to go on the walls also and to have a few extra if any of mine went out.... The 18 total lights that I have on the roof are more than enough lighting to illuminate my 30'x60' Shop which is 1800 SF.... I highly recommend these little lights for all your lighting needs. If you had to go out and buy new florecent fixtures from your local box store you would have to spend about $20 minimum per fixture plus cost of bulbs and would need about the same amount of fixtures and bulbs so you would be right at about $500 after tax for bulbs and fixtures and the lighting would not be as clean or as bright. The LED fixtures are the best Value for your dollar in terms of light output, ease of install and clean looks.

Great LED Lights for a garage! Super bright 6500k!
Great product! I installed twelve of the Barrina 6500k LED lights, connecting 6 in series in my poorly lit 2-car garage, 6 on LEFT and 6 on RIGHT side. The 6500 K bright white is extremely white light to show true colors, which is great for doing project work, car maintenance, painting, washing cars, whatever. Easy to install, lightweight and great how they connect to one another end to end when in a straight line, appears like a single long light strip when installed. I used a laser level to shine a horizontal straight line on the ceiling, installed two anchors into the drywall for each light strip, screwed in clips, and snap the lights in end for straight lines and short connector cables (purchased separately) for the 90-degree turns to basically create a perimeter of light strips around the garage. Install took about an hour, including the measuring and planning to determine where to position the lights. I plugged them into a TP-Link Alexa-enabled controllers, plugged into the receptacles in the ceiling for garage door openers, so I can turn Left, Right, or both 6-light series on or off with Amazon Echo devices, or Apps. I plan to install Wiremold strips to conceal the wires soon. Great product, great value, fantastic LIGHT for my garage!

Great lights and easy for me to use!
I am an avid gardener, and I use the Barrina LED T5 Shop Light pack as part of my microgreens gardening setup. These lights are quite bright. They are 4FT long and easy to set up. I was a little hesitant to use the lights because I wasnโt sure how to set up my microgreens shelves. However, I should not have worried, because the lights are plug-and-play and easy to set up. Their lightweight design and built-in on/off switch make them practical and easy to install. Iโve been using these lights for more than 2 years, and I havenโt had any problems with them. I liked them so much that I bought a second set. They are durable, energy-saving, and versatileโhighly recommend!

Faulty Light amended
02/22/2024...FANTASTIC customer service. They immediately reached out to me and asked me to retest the lights. Obviously the one light was bad. The rest of the lights turned out to be all good. My error. Barinna sent replacement lights at no charge and the arrived it just a couple of days after they said they would send them. I would highly recommend this product. The lights are fantastic. They really lit up my dimly lit garage. When you do have an issue, they stand behind their product and make it right. KUDOS!! Initially I was very happy with these lights. My garage was much brighter. However, I came home tonight to find one to find one side of my garage unlit. Investigating I found the first light in the string experienced a short. Thinking one light went bad I removed it from the string, reconnected the rest (5 lights). None of the other 5 work either. It seems that one light shorted talking the whole string of lights out. See pictures. I have reached out for warrantee and I am awaiting a response.

LIGHTS ARE AMAZING BUT SWITCHES ARE LOW QUALITY
For reference I originally had 18 of these lights in my garage/workshop. I had them running 2 sets of 8 on 2 separate switches, and a set of 2 on 1 switch. The switches are plugged into an outlet in the garage. I have been using them for around 6 weeks at this point. I use them daily for several hours. The first thing to know is that the lights themselves exceeded my expectations for the brightness and functionality. For what I purchased the lights to do, my opinion is that expectations are beyond what I was hoping. Installation: I installed the lights running front to back in 4 lines of 4 each. I also installed 2 above one of my workbenches and attached them to the underside of the shelf on the workbench. I used the included hardware other than changing the mounting screws out for longer screws so they would be more secure. I was able to mount all the lights into the cross beams running in the ceiling of the garage so that I would not have to worry about anchor issues. If I were going to use anchors, I would not have used the supplied anchors. I would recommend upgrading to self-drilling drywall anchors. There are a plethora to choose from on Amazon but just for reference, this is what I am referencing: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F2WMCP2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Here are some little hints for installation made easier if you are installing the lights end to end as I did using the included 1 inch union. โข I lined up one end to the other using a simple nail and string to help me keep the line straight. (a nail at each end and the string from end to end.) However, I highly recommend you install your first light then attach and hold the second light in place, mark the location, and install the second light and so on until you are finished with that row. On my first string of 4 I originally marked the brackets off along the string and installed both brackets for all 4 lights. Big mistake as the slightest amount off caused aggravation. Note that if you are using the included longer union cord, then this will not be an issue. The only reason I did not give these lights 5 stars. ***The switches. The switches are cheap. I mean really cheap.*** Note the included pictures of failed switches where the rocker melted. One switch is melted to where it would not move. The other switch is melted up and will no longer touch the contact, thus it is just loose. You are basically rolling the dice on the end result of the malfunction. After I installed the lights, within a week, I noticed that one of the switches was making a crackling noise and was hot to touch. I watched them all closely after this and never left the lights on without being in the garage. A day later the switch failed. I had extra so replaced it and just wrote it off to 1 bad switch in the batch. Less than a week later, same thing. Ughโฆ..So I wrote to Barrina via email and explained. No response so I went through amazon messaging and finally got a response. They agreed to replace the 2 switches. I got those switches in the mail. However, by the time I received them a third switch had failed. However, the replacement switches are EXACTLY the same as the originals. The only string of lights I trust at this point to not cause these switches to fail are the ones with just 2 lights on the string. I have not had them fail on that string. You may have better luck having 4 lights on the switch, but I do not desire to have 5 separate switches for the garage lighting varying in length from 15 to 30 ft depending on where I choose to plug them in. My solution was to purchase higher quality switches and just replace the cheap, and in my opinion, useless, switches with the higher quality switches. This gives me the ability to now link 16 lights on one switch and also have the peace of mind that the switch will not burn up and cause a fire if I am not in the garage when the lights are on. Here is a link to the switches I purchased from Amazon. They are installed and functioning like a champ. I love that I now have all the lights on one switch!!!! They were only about 13.00 for 10 switches so not that big of a deal. But still adds to the cost if you are comparing based on price. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XPN8PL8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 To summarize: โข The lights are amazing. I highly recommend them, even with the given switch problem. โข They function exactly as described, if not better. โข Installation is simple. Just remember what I mentioned in my tip to keep them aligned in a long string. โข Switches are cheap and I would not put more then 2 lights on them at a time. Thus, you may want to include the cost of purchasing higher quality switches into your budget, if that is an issue. Click on the included link above for the switches I purchased.

These Lights Are Terrific
I'm a car guy. I have a 2 car garage, and I use it to actually store 2 cars. It's not a storage area, it's not a gym it's a garage. In addition to the 2 cars I have shelves with automotive stuff, tools, fluids etc. I have a work bench. Then I have the other stuff, 2 bicycles, a couple of kayaks and various sports equipment. When I moved in about 20 years ago I installed 3 of the typical 4 ft.-2 fluorescent fixtures in the ceiling to supplement the 2 ceiling bulbs that came with the house. The lighting was obviously better but still sucked. I have a lift in my garage and I do routine maintenance and it's still tough to see well while working on the cars. Over the past few years I've been looking at LED's but the more I looked the more confused I got and essentially it was paralysis by analysis. This past week I decided OK, enough is enough. I need more light. I looked at bunch of Youtubes and these lights kept popping up in different reviews and they were very positive. So, I ordered 12 of these. I figured after all these years of working in crappy light there's no such thing as too much light. These showed up very quickly. I was amazed how light a box of 12 of these was. Then I was amazed how lightweight each bulb was. Quite honestly my 1st impression was this quality must suck. The little mounting brackets that hold the bulbs in place look like they would not hold a Q-tip in place. Anyway, I screw in the 1 little screw that holds each of the mounting bracket in place & I snap the bulb in. The bulb snaps in perfectly and securely. I then attach the power cord and plug that in and holy crap-let there be light. The 1 bulb was amazing. What's really nice about these is that you can run these bulbs in a straight line directly connected to one another and or you can use the 4ft wire that enables you to also connect additional bulbs. You can run I think it said as many as 6 bulbs off of 1 power cord. I put 6 of these up so they form a perfect rectangle over the perimeter of the car that would be on the lift. I put 2 over my work bench and 2 above the 2nd car. The last 2 I put in the unfinished part of my finished basement that I use to store car parts and my race tires. Although I had bulbs and fluorescents there, these give off way more light and a better quality light. And the entire time I was mounting these I did not drop 1 bulb until I said to myself I can't believe I have not dropped any bulbs-sure enough I got cocky & careless and dropped 1 from an 8ft ladder. I figured, OK it's done but I have 11 more. To my amazement it was not damaged and worked perfectly. Now I had slack in some of the wires up on the ceiling. So, I get my trusty staple gun and said to myself-don't put the staple through the wire-sure enough 1st staple dead center through the wire-but the lamp still worked. Next one, I said to myself OK, I already screwed up 1 and got lucky it still worked-next staple another perfect shot through the wire and the bulb still worked. I did remove both of these staples and finally got the hang of not stapling through the wires. All I can say is these things work as advertised. Incredibly easy to install, give off tremendous light. Time will tell about their longevity but 1st impressions are you won't be disappointed by these. I had both my cars outside while doing this and it was late morning early afternoon. One of my neighbors was passing by as I was opening the garage door to put the cars back-he came over and asked if I was doing surgery in there. he said he could not believe the light coming out of my garage.

Bright, Reliable, and Perfect for Fish Rooms, workshops or garage.
I've been using these Barrina T5 LED shop lights in my fish room since December 2024, and they have been excellent. They provide bright, clean white light that evenly illuminates my aquariums and work areas without producing excessive heat. Installation was straightforward, and the ability to link multiple fixtures together made it easy to customize the lighting setup. After months of daily use, all of the lights are still working perfectly with no flickering, dimming, or failures. The low power consumption is another big plus, especially when running multiple fixtures for extended periods. The light output is impressive for the price, making these an outstanding value. If you're looking for reliable, bright, and energy-efficient lighting for a fish room, workshop, garage, or utility space, I highly recommend these lights. Pros: Very bright and even light output Easy installation Energy efficient Linkable design Reliable long-term performance A great purchase that has exceeded my expectations.

Great lights for garage or basement. Ships with awful screws. Clips bend easily.
I love the light. I love the easy connect features. They are a bit glaring, but for shop or garage or basement they are fine. I put my lights up starting 4 feet from the wall, and using the full length of the link cords. So I end up with one light per 8 feet. I put in a row every other rafter, so the net result is 1 light for 32 square feet of floor. This is good illumination for work. But they ship with tiny phillips head screws that don't really fit even a #1 phillips screw driver. Worse, the screws strip very easily. I got around this by using 5/8" #6 robertson head screws. I would suggest that they retool for a screw with a slightly larger head capable of supporting a #1 phillips screwdriver, and harden the head so it won't strip out so easily. The clips need some work too. A: it's easy to bend the clips. Using spring steel would prevent this. Fortunately I have extra packages of clips in my box. B: The lip that allows it to ride up then snap into the mounting groove should be a mm longer. This would allow both easier snap in, as well as easier access with a flat screwdriver when you need to unmount for any reason.

Excellent lighting
Much better than the previous model, they have improved the connectivity so now itโs flawless.

Not long lasting
I bought these 2 years ago and I only use them. Maybe an hour a day in the shop, and they are already dying

Hard to beat for the price
Ive bought quite a few of these over the last 5 years to set up in 3 different garages as well as to use as grow lights for succulents. For the price its hard to beat. They're super easy to set up because theyre so light and dont give off much heat. In an unheated garage in Canada I've had some burn out after 2-5 years of use, but for the price I still have no problem buying again. The ones I have indoors for grow lights as well as in one of the garages that I dont use nearly as much I havent had a single one burn out yet. Theyre also easy to splice and crimp in order to extend the wires if you need to make some longer connectors or cords. It also is possible to get burnt out ones working again rather easily usually (when they stopped working due to diodes burning out which is the most common reason), you just have to remove the cover and use any small battery connected to a couple wires and touch them to either side of diodes down the strip to find where the set of 5 diodes that are all burnt out are, then break then off and bridge each of the 5 spots with a drop of solder. However depending on how many other diodes on the strip have also started dying it might not last very long before another set has all burnt out and the light stops working again. There are video's on youtube can find that show you how to do it.
