AiLi Battery Monitor DC 300V 100A Voltmeter Ammeter Voltage Amp Meter Gauge with Hall Effect Sensor Transformer

I have installed this product in my motorhome battery box. I require to know the load I am taking from my leisure battery when I don’t have a 240VAC hookup. I have solar panels fitted but this meter does not show the charge rate as that information is available on the controller inside the van. The hall sensor seems to work ok even though I’m at a very low end of the capacity of the meter, 100amps max. The max load I will take is about 10amps and that includes the water pump running intermittently. The pump takes about 3amps. The normal loading during the evening when you require led lights, tv, gas heater fan, if cold will not exceed 10amps I hope. Trials still to be carried out. It would have been preferable to fit the meter inside the van to view the load real time, however it is not possible as I have no spare space to mount the instrument. At least I know now which lights not to use to keep the load down. I haven’t taken into account iPad, iPhone charging at present. I am looking at a separate solar charge system to take care of that aspect. The instruction leaflet is basic, but the price of £32 is ok as far as I’m concerned. An instrument with a shunt might be more accurate but I could not fit one due to the size of my installation. There is more info on the meter than I personally require, all I really wanted was the load taken, a bonus is when the system is switched off when motoring the meter will show the charge amperage back to the battery. The meter is live all the time as it is directly connected to the battery, no switch facility, the load to power the meter is negligible, there is a back light function if it is dark. All in all it would appear to be satisfactory, time will tell. If tried to post a photo but it won’t work!!

Fitted to my motorhome, biggest problem was location, lead only 2 metres long this is the maximum distance it can be fitted from the battery lead Haven't used it yet to check a large load. Seems reasonably accurate on small loads

I installed this to track battery charge status in a small (80W, 12V, 22Ah) solar power system and the current sensor is not accurate enough at low currents where the current draw varies quickly. I think the problem may be the hall effect sensor is just not accurate enough, or the sample rate is not high enough to correctly track varying low currents.

Really easy to install. Having some issues with the connection between the reader and reading device. Seems to be working again now, but if it plays up will he contacting the seller for a replacement as when it’s working it really is good. I use it in my camper van and very useful for monitoring the leisure battery.

As a seasoned Amazon shopper for technical products I am enured to having to make a purchasing decision on little or no useful information about the product. In this case, the key feature is measurement accuracy - It is poor. To perform its intended function it needs to measure voltage and current. Its voltage display can be out by 5% and its current sensor is so unstable that it can read + or - 2 amps when there is no no current flowing at all. It has a zero current setting function but you would need to do it every day. I bought this to keep track of the charge state of my solar system battery but for that application it is useless. Incidentally, who would have expected charge current to be displayed with a negative sign?

The instrument does not need a shunt resistance, so it is easy to instal. The cable from the sensing unit to the instrument coud be a bit longer or with instructions on how to lengthen it.

The unit is very basic and although it works it is pretty flimsy. The biggest problem is the instructions, they might as well have just left them in the original Mandarin!!

I used this monitor to analyze my wind turbine generator performance. Easy to program and easy to read. Satisfied my need to verify system performance. The Hall ring was necessary where there were wires not identified as positive, negative, and ground.

This is a very cool battery monitor. It comes with a one page instruction sheet. It's pretty easy to set up. In the settings, the maximum amp-hour you can set is 99.9, not 999.9 as the instructions indicate. Luckily it'll detect how big your battery is after you've completed the setup. You need to run your battery all the way down and then recharge it and it'll display how many AH are available. I bought a 25 foot shielded, 6 wire twisted pair cable and was able to extend the cable that came with it by that much. It seems to work just fine after the extension.

Das aufgeführte kürze Kabel fehlt, wie auch schon von Anderen erwähnt. Nicht für kleine Ströme unterhalb von 500mA/12V geeignet.

The display is clear and easy to read. The promo and documents state the battery current indicates current direction. THIS IS NOT TRUE. NO CURRENT DIRECTION (+ OR -) INDICATION IS PRESENT. If not for the false advertising, I would have rated higher.

War auf der Suche nach einem DC Strommessgerät das ohne einem Shunt arbeitet. Die Entscheidung fiel auf dieses Modell. Die Funktion ist OK und auch die Genauigkeit scheint zu passen im Vergleich zu einigen Referenzmessungen mit anderen Standard Messgeräten. Zu bemängeln ist die Einbaufreundlichkeit. Bei der Anzeigeeinheit handelt sich um ein übliches oft verwendetes Modul das durch Spreizkrallen im Gehäuse halten soll, das ist die Theorie, in der Praxis haben die Krallen keinen Federweg. Das bedeutet man bringt das Modul entweder nicht in das Gehäuse oder man bringt es nicht mehr heraus. Die Helligkeit der Anzeige ist ebenfalls sehr gering. In heller Umgebung ist das ablesen der Anzeige mühsam.
