INNERSENSE Organic Beauty - I Create Hold Styling Gel (10oz)

I've been using this styling gel for a while now, and it's become one of my favorites. It provides a firm yet flexible hold that keeps my curls defined all day without making them feel hard or crunchy. It does a great job controlling frizz while adding definition and shine, and my hair still feels soft and touchable after it dries. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts quite a while. These products are very concentrated so don't have to use a whole lot. I also appreciate the clean ingredients and that it doesn't leave behind flakes or sticky residue. It layers well with my other styling products and washes out easily. The only thing I'd mention is that if you use too much, it can feel a little heavy, so I recommend starting with a small amount and adding more if needed. Overall, this is a high-quality styling gel that gives long-lasting definition, controls frizz, and keeps curls looking healthy and natural. I would definitely buy it again!

Curly girl here!!! I’ve tried all the hair products on the market throughout my 30+ years. Some are great some not so much. Immersense is the brand recommended by my curly hair stylist and the brand I love the most. My stylist is a level two trained curl specialist and even in her salon only uses this brand! For the past year I have followed her advice and use the shampoo, conditioner, and styling gel at home. What I love about it: This brand offerers a clean, salon-quality, and nutrient-dense formulas that enhances my curls definition, provides overall hydration, and softness. The gel, when applied properly, makes my curls "juicy" and defined, eliminating frizz and enhancing natural curl patterns without feeling weighed down. As all curly girls know, a cast is necessary for long lasting curl definition, and while this brands gel casts nicely, it’s easy to “scrunch the crunch out” without leaving any residue, heavy weight, or unwanted stickiness. I also love that this brand uses organic, non-toxic ingredients, making it a safe choice for hair health. While I don’t use the foam at home, my stylist does in her salon and when it’s used on me it adds great lift and volume, especially around the roots. I also love that there is no stickiness. I will eventually add it to my routine at home . Lastly I love the scent. I am very sensitive to smells especially “natural” smells using herbal oils and herbal oils. The hairspray from this line falls into the herbal natural smell that I do not like so I use it sparingly, but the shampoo, conditioner and gel have a lovely light fresh scent that I actually enjoy The downside: there isn’t many. Price was it’s high compared to drug store hair products, but you do get what you pay for and I feel the value is there with Innersense. Also being a curly girl you only wash every 5-7 days and only reapply product every 3 or so days to maintain style, so while you are paying more, the products lasts a long time.

this product is actually my holy grail. i didn’t section my hair properly at first, and my hair was kinda dead. i got a haircut, then learned to section it better. THE DIFFERENCE IT MADE. i have issues with heavy frizz and thick hair that doesn’t define properly, especially after bleaching it years back. but this works so well, like my holy grail. its a bit on the pricey side as someone who buys their hair products from the grocery store most the time, but u get a LOT for ur buck. super worth it. i’ve been using this for probably over three months now and i still have some left. it smells super good too, like citrus and summer. my dad stole it from me he likes it that much😭. 2b hair girlies this stuff is for u

Soft curls, that stay longer than without product. Moisturizing. Not much of any scent.

This styling gel provides a good hold without making the hair feel stiff or heavy. It keeps everything in place while still looking natural. I also like that it’s made with natural ingredients and is non toxic and cruelty free, which is a big plus compared to many other styling products. Another nice feature is the scent. It smells really good without being overpowering. Overall, it’s a great option if you want a styling gel that works well and is made with cleaner ingredients.

This is a great product! It is a quality product, so follow the instructions clearly. Do NOT use a lot of it per section, or it will flake badly. Once I learned about that, the product became a new favorite. I apply it to wet hair and only put 1-2 pumps per section. It is very moisturizing and provides a great cast. I have fine 4A, 4B hair, but a lot of it, so I don't need nearly as much product to the front of my hair where the coils are looser. Great for twist outs, and mini twists.

What I liked about the products I’ve used from Innersense is the fragrances have been nice. I liked that I Create Hold actually kept my hair from looking frizzy for the most part. There’s no super crispy, feel, or greasy feel. There’s not a lot of shine, though. I’ve been using the hydrating hair bath, and conditioner, along with I Create Volume and I Create Hold. From the get-go I’ve had several problems though. I noticed right away that sometimes my scalp would itch. My hair strands would stick together after using the shampoo and conditioner, and the I Create Volume seemed to add to that. I definitely had to be careful to not run my fingers through my hair at all after it was dry. When I wake up in the morning, I have horrible tangles towards the ends of my hair, something I didn’t have a problem with before, and I noticed that my hair started falling out quite a bit. When I ordered this new bottle of I Create Hold the product seemed much thicker than the original bottle I had purchased, and immediately my scalp started burning and itching whenever I used it. I contacted Carbon Beauty about the problem and no one ever got back to me. I’m so disappointed because I had high hopes that I’d finally found products that didn’t make my hair look either greasy or crispy after styling. I cannot use the products in the shower, because where ever the residue touches the rest of my skin even though I rinse off thoroughly, I’ve developed a random rashes all over my body. I would say if you have sensitive skin, see if you can get samples or buy small bottles of the products before investing. My sister has hair that’s much less curly than mine so she uses different products in the Innersense line and has no problems. She loves it and it makes her hair look beautiful. Unfortunately for me, between the tangles, the hair loss, and the burning itching scalp I am going to have to continue to look elsewhere for compatible hair care products.

I have mixed race twins with 3c hair. This product is a game changer. They use it with innersense detox mask. Curls have never looked so healthy and no knots or tugs. It is expensive but it lasts a long time.

This styling gel holds my hair well all day and keeps it looking nice. It does not feel heavy or sticky, and my hair feels soft. I like that it has natural ingredients and a light scent. I will buy this again and recommend it to others

Great product!

I’ve been looking for a gel that I love and would repurchase for years, this is the one. I love it. Smells great, it’s a bit pricey but you need so little product and the bottle is good size. I have 2C 3A curls and my hair is very thick, usually curls fall out and frizz quickly but not with this gel.
