Irish folks are not as big as Americans. If you wear a Large, suggest you get an Irish xxxL

Sizing is appropriate for a rugby jersey.
Ordered mine and was surprised how well it fit than actual rugby jersey. For everyone complaining about sizing to small, this style of Jersey is meant to be extremely tight fitting so that it cannot be grabbed a hold of. If you want a normal shirt fit, than yes, order 2 sizes up. If you want an authentic jersey fit, order to your standard size.

Sizes do not match Chart
Sizes did NOT match chart. Own an XL and ordered same as per their size chart for this year's St Paddy's Day. Arrived but could barely could get it in. Returned but cut get a replacement until after SPD! Arg. Material and workshop was very good though
