Q&A review Why is there bad reviews for this product when the product aims it's design to provide comfort? Answer: This product is based off of a bond relationship that is dependent on how the dog builds relationships. If the dog is a pup and new, for me it was easier for the process to occur. I'd assume that for older dogs, it depends on what the ease of building a bond is for them. If the dog has been abused before it was rescued then I'd assume it develops bonds cautiously. If the dog has recently experienced a great change like transitioning from owners, then expect your dog to ease into the bond at its own pace. It will be expensive at first (of the dogs ease is slow) because the heat packs can come off as expensive. So the bad reviews came from dog owners that didn't feel comfortable with how long their best friends took to develop the bond. Awesome product once you see the dog bond with it. It took less than a month to leave my dog home without the anxiety. Now he doesn't even look for it. He gets the feeling that being alone can be adventerous too with the right amount of confidence. Recommendations: Buy a lot of heat packs. Like always be patient. Do not fear the dogs tensions and accept that the barks will be annoying and troublesome at times. Hopefully you live in a house and people will understand the poor creatures struggle. Also don't care about your poor neighbors if you live in apartments. If they aren't good neighbors and can't understand your dogs struggle, then at least you paid your pet fee which gives you the right to keep the dog home.

Recent edit 2-2026-10 stars!... Anything Snuggle Puppy BUY!! We have a petite dog. It doesn't get cold in our home, but if needed, we'll use these! EDIT: LATER Winter 2026...When heat went out for 3 days & VERY COLD nights in 2-2026 Winter, w/an electric heater, a Franklin Stove (during the day only-we have 3 thsnk God-but didn't want a fire @ night) our Petite Shih Tzu stayed (10 mos. old, not used to sleeping on our bed yet!) was warm w/the electric (bigger 1 used than photo) heater and her beloved Heated SNUGGLE PUPPY! So glad I bought extras just in case...! A MUST! To this day she gets upset if her Snuggle Puppy's heart stops! Batteries easily replaced & I bought a spare "heart"... our Petite Shih Tzu LOVES her Snuggle Puppy! I had it from DAY ONE! And it's still her Mama/Papa doggie when we can't be with her! (Plus dog calming YouTube music). Must keep our sweet baby happy! This does! I'm thinking of buying a 2nd!

These do take about 30 minutes to warm up. They don't quite last 24 hours or at least the batch I received didn't. Kind of pricey for what they are. I bought these thinking they might work inside an outdoor feral cat shelter this winter. I know that isn't what they are made for and I was taking my chances. They don't stay warm outside in the cold at all but as long as it is indoors it will get nice and warm. I'm sure they are perfect for there intended use if keeping puppies and kittens comforted.

These packs are amazing! It's the perfect amount of heat, and they stay warm for at least 24 hours. They aide in my pups crate training. My pup lies on the part with the heat and falls sleep. I ordered extra to have on hand just in case they run out.

I got these to use when the ones that came with our Buddy Dog ran out. From reading another review somewhere I learned I could get 2 or 3 nights yse from each one by sealing it in a small Ziploc bag when not in use. It heats when air hits it, does not heat when sealed. After a few months we no longer needed to "heat" Buddy but these are a great product!

I picked up some of these because the price seemed so nice. Half the price of some other good ones. The packaged instructions indicate that each one should come with a pouch to put the pack in when you shake it up. They don't. They also state that they last 24 hours. They didn't even last 12. You get what you pay for i guess.

Our puppy loves her snuggle puppy and sleeps with it every night. These replacement heat packs are perfect for Colorado winter nights when we turn the thermostat down. In the morning she’ll be curled around it. Highly recommend.

These heat packs are great! They last longer than 48 hours and have been so soothing for our pup. We even plan on bringing some camping next year for those chilly nighys
