Update: I thought this may be useful information for anyone unsure about this item - I just put my tree up for the third year and it looks like new. The lights came on, as soon as the cord was plugged into the outlet. It really does add holiday cheer with minimal decorating effort! I've always wanted a bit of the holidays in my office/bedroom, so when I saw this little tree, I impulsively placed an order. I'm very glad I did - it was easy to set up and decorate. Within 25-30 min., all was completed. A couple of things to mention - you may need an extension cord, as the one attached is pretty short (approx 36") and when removing the tree from the box, make sure you take it out by it's base end, so the branches remain folded properly. Then, shape and fluff, add some small ornaments and it's ready for display. Regarding ornaments, I purchased an inexpensive set with 24 (40 mm) which turned out to be a good number and size. This tree is nicer than I expected - very full and symmetrical. The weighted base is draped in burgundy fabric and tied with gold cord, as seen in the product photo. I'm very happy with my choice and would recommend this item for gifting or providing additional holiday sparkle... UPDATE - 12/3/18 - Some other reviews noted problems with the lights. After enjoying this little tree every evening since it arrived, there have been no issues. Also, for my needs, the number/amount of pre-strung lights seems perfectly adequate. As an FYI, the base is weighted nicely to provide good stability, should that be of concern. Happy Holidays to all!

You get what you pay for. This little tree is just the size I needed. It comes compressed so you need to fluff the branches. It comes with the lights already on, but all the lights were bunched in one side of the tree so I took them off and put on smaller fairy lights. Once I loaded it up with my absolute favorite ornaments and topper, it looks great and serves the purpose of adding holiday cheer without taking over too much space in my small space.

This a great tree that will fit nicely on top of a desk, dresser or any small space. The company is American, however the tree is made in China. It does not come with enough lights (the reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars), so I ordered an additional set of 20 lights, and that is working out very well. Also, the small star (again made for a small tree) adds a nice touch.

This is exactly what I was looking for and I'm so pleased that I bought a second one! I don't have any family members including children and have been away for the past 2 Xmas seasons. I didn't have any Xmas decorations for this year and saw this one on Amazon for such a good price and bought it not expecting it to be really good - but it's actually perfect! All the little white lights work and are placed just the right way so the tree looks nice from all sides. The branches needed to be adjusted to achieve the look of fullness but none of them broke while doing this. The cord for the lights is well hidden so that only the lights show when plugged in. This tree is very pretty as is and doesn't need anything else unless desired such as decorations. I bought a package of small gold balls to hang as well as some red, white and green ornaments. With leftover balls I am buying another one of these to use in a different room. The price is very good considering the quality of this tree and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a ready to use tabletop Xmas tree! I think this would make a nice centerpiece for a large dining room or kitchen table too.

I was attracted by the shape and the base - by the way, the color red is perfect, not a cheap red, but a deep royal velvet red. I find the lights quite enough and secure to the branches that can be opened in whichever way. I decorated it with red berries and a few other trinkets and it is perfect. Yes, the length of the chord is a bit short, need a plug nearby (which worked in my case) or an extension, but too long would have been unsightly. As for it being realistic, it is enough, and honestly I prefer its soft “needles” to the hard plastic kinds. I am partial to big real trees, but as fake ones go this rivals them in cuteness. Also, no assembly required!

I have had this tree for 6 years. It is the best tree I’ve ever owned. It is perfect for my apartment and the lights and tree are still perfect. I put. Ladder and it comes out so nice!

This was great and relaxing to have in the background in the evenings. The lighting was so calming and soft. It was also very easy to set up. The bummer part is that the light functionality only lasted through one holiday season. When I went to plug it in to test it out for this season, the lights no longer worked.

Nice little tree for a small area. It has the right amount of lights to give a festive look and create a festive mood.

I guess I waited a day to long to order it and when I went to check out it was about $26.00 higher than the day before. I needed it - so purchased it but check your pricing and order before December 1st! It was jacked up to $77.23 each but was only 50.71 before. Clearly seasonal price hikes - I don't think it was worth the 77.23 but the $50.00 price tag would have been reasonable. The product was great and looks good for a table top tree.

Quality is okay, but my tree doesn't look like the picture. The branches form a messy blob and doesn't taper towards the top. My sister got one too though and hers does taper, so looks like it's just a quality control issue.

It doesn't look like the picture at all If I had paid the full price to buy a new one, I would have sent it back for sure. Mine is used, so for the little money I paid, I'll keep it.

I really like the tree it served the purpose for us!
