40536DC0 Timeless Soap/Lotion Dispenser, Supersteel

Looks good, works well, finish is a good match for the Grohe faucet ordered at the same time. It is a premium product and priced accordingly, about $60 at the end of 2015. This was a stainless finish. We've previously owned a premium price Franke biscuit-color (light ivory) finish dispenser and the finish wore off in about 5 years, at which point the plumbing supply house told us that if you want longest term life, get stainless finish.

Looks great next to matching Grohe faucet but it's pretty much all looks. I can never get it to dispense any soap. Right now, it's there for looks while I have the plastic soap bottle on the counter. Guess I'll just have to replace it one day with another brand since it looks like it's an ongoing issue according to other reviews.

Purchased to match Groh faucet Ladylux 3 for a new kitchen installation. Works great and seems to be high quality. One installation glitch; the instructions don't mention that the threaded plastic tube has only one end internally threaded for the soap bottle, Do it right the first time and save a couple of minutes of under sink time.

When I redid my kitchen, my builder recommended Grohe for the faucet. I looked at their products and picked this soap dispenser. The first one that I had, the plastic container for the soap broke off and spilled dish soap over everything under the sink. The soap dispenser intermittently worked, it seems to get clogged very easily. They sent me a complete new unit. When I started using the new pump it worked well, after about 3 months, it hardly works. I like having the soap dispenser so that I don't have to have a bottle of soap on my counter. However, since this dispenser hardly dispenses soap, I am constantly taking it out and then dripping soap all over. My old one from home depot for less than half the cost worked so much better. I would NOT buy this product again!

A bot expensive, but if you want a matching Grohe set, does the job well.

Would give this five stars if the part that delivers the soap were just a little bit longer. It ends at the edge of the sink which makes it a little more difficult to use. It may be fine on other sinks, depending on where the hole is drilled.

Another nice Grohe product. We has an issue with priming the pump. Grohe customer support recommended we add a little water to the detergent and said not to use anti-bacterial soap. We found that tipping the head upside down and filling the extension with water is all it takes to keep the pump primed when refilling the soap dispenser.

Spicket is too short (1/2 inch longer would be better) and, worse, getting the soap through the tube (priming) when first installed was so slow, used some water as others have noted after the soap had started going up the tube but ultimately had to suck the soap out (not me, my spouse.) Does Grohe have any recommendations or better instructions for that part of the install? Hoping when second bottle is loaded that it will immediately work. Will report back
