Is there any way to get more of the pre filters? Tried to wash mine & it was ripped apart...

I'm seeing a lot of reviews saying this filter only lasts for 6 weeks to 3 months. How do I avoid that issue? Will the company replace defects?

I've been using the same filter since "Last purchased Jul 10, 2020." on a 400cfm fan dialed down half way I only use LEDs. I haven't even flipped the flange around yet even and it still working awesome. Ac infinity a good company I'm sure they would rectify any defect filter but I would not be worried about it.

Can Air be vented out of this filter?

Yes. You could push or pull air through it.

I want to use this to remove cigar smoke in a room that is 350sq ft, will this be ok to use along with the filter?

This is a filter. It works great for all kinds of odors including cigar smoke. Go for it. I have one myself and it works great.
