This candy is so nostalgic for me. When I was a young boy, on the weekends we would go to visit my grandfather who owned a lot of businesses in the town he lived in. He would always take me to one of his pubs and it was an old time store with jars of candy behind the counter on the wall. I would sit in his lap and even though my mom would say don’t give him a bunch of candy, he was my papa and he did just that! Out of about 100 choices this is the one that I always picked. Since then time has passed and I have craved that candy for years! I couldn’t remember the name of it or anything really except for the wrapper, vaguely and the taste! 30+ years has since passed my grandfather is no longer with us and the pub has been closed for years. One day last year a lady who works for me, out of nowhere just offered me a piece of candy and I was sitting at my desk swimming in emails and I looked up at what she was offering me and I froze. It was the candy! I snatched it and put it in my mouth so fast and the taste was the confirmation I needed! She told me where to buy it and I bought it right there on the spot! To say I love this candy is an understatement, not just for the taste but for the memory of my papa! This candy makes me very very happy and I’m so glad I was able to find it after all these years! When it arrived I ate so much until my mouth was raw! Just like when I was a kid!

Reminds me of my childhood. The quality of gum is not the same, but still I love it.

This bubble gum filled candy is delicious. This was a favorite candy when I was a kid and was very hard to find until I checked Amazon! However, just like everything else a change has taken place. They put a little tiny piece of gum inside the candy not even enough to chew and definitely not blow a bubble. I've ordered multiple times thinking maybe I got a bad batch. I will NOT be ordering again until they replace the same amount of bubble gum!

This candy is awesome! It took me back to my childhood days when the candy was a Penny.

I’d first like to say. The delivery was on time. I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but it’s an honest one. I searched for this candy for a while and was excited when I finally “ found” it. The size is not the same, the taste is definitely not the same and the gum in the middle is very minimal. The original flavor was a good bubble gum flavor. This one here isn’t even close to the original. The size is closer to a lollipop size. I wouldn’t recommend this product if you are looking for a blast from the past.
