Great for soups or quesadillas.

Very disappointing.
I thought I'd give this a shot. Well, yuck! It turned out to be some peppery porridge with god knows what other stuff in it. Impossible to tell what the actual fungus tastes like! I'll give it one more try, making sure there's nothing in it but the huitlacoche itself. This was DISGUSTING!

The product is delicious; it should have been shipped in a box.
This product was perfect, except that it arrived dented on all sides. Sadly, it was shipped in a bag, rather than a box. Maybe this review will rectify the problem so another buyer will not get a damaged can. As I say, the huitlacoche was excellent. The dented can was disappointing.
