Excellence quality product. Installed it on condominium staircases. They have a lot of foot traffic and are exposed to the sun. Have held up well and stay in. place.

My husband has mobility issues so I've installed strips in a number of locations inside and outside our home. Nothing compares to this 3M product for durability. I've tried the off brand strips and they lift and disintegrate quickly, only the 3M product holds up. It's worth the extra expense in my opinion.

Very tough product, easy to install if your PREPARE the steps as instructed and make sure things are clean! I marked and cut the pieces before I began so I had things ready, along with my pie roller (since I did not have a rubber one) and a rubber mallet. If you roll back and forth and pound it well with the mallet, it will not come off. I have some on other steps for two years and they are still in place. It rains a LOT where I live and the wooden steps get quite slippery for people and dogs in the winter. I love these strips as they save a LOT of falls I am sure!

Durable slip resistant tape; however, be sure to use an extra adhesive as the tape will not remain secure for near as long if used without it.

I use these strips on stained wooden stairs up to my front door (4" thick, 12" wide) that often get frosty during the winter. These strips adhere well and usually will stick to the stairs through two Seattle-area winters before starting to peel up. They keep their grip surface well over time, as well. Install takes just a few minutes to cut the strips to the right length and round off the corners (which helps prevent peeling over time).

We use this stuff on our motorcycle lifts in the middle 1/3 of the lift surface. Does a great job of preventing the front tire from sliding out to the side if the lift is wet with anything. Before we started using this tape, we almost lost a bike bringing it up on the lift when the front tire was wet with rain water. Close call.

We switched to this product after using gator grip for years. After much R&D comparing the 2 products, 3M took the gold in every way. We used several different prep techniques and the 3M stuck no matter what, while the Gator grip would lift around the edges. It is 3x the money, but is also 3x the product.
