Is this comfortable for everyday wear?

Not suitable for a professional setting. Cheap tailoring and material, elastic cuffs.

Is this a long coat as seen in the first picture? or short as seen in the second picture taken of the rear? the photos are not of the same length coat

Honestly, I haven’t looked at the coat since Halloween. It seemed long enough but was marginal in quality for a costume and doesn’t come close to what you could wear in a professional setting.

Is this flame retardant?

This is most certainly a halloween costume, and i wouldn’t use it for anything other than that. I’m not sure if it’s flame retardant but if you’re going to be using this for anything other than a halloween costume i would highly recommend you buy something a little more high quality.

What size should I get? I'm 5'4 180 lbs

Get the size you normally wear and get one size up. Should be fine.
