Excellent performance and a great value
This filter is excellent. It seems like a simple device, but there are many manufacturers who can't get this right. A few of the key things to look for are: 1) Does it fit properly? 2) Does it filter out the grinds well? 3) Is it easy to clean? 4) Is it durable? This filter works very well in all of these points. 1) It fits into my older (original) Keurig model perfectly. 2) I use fine grinds and these even filter those grounds very well. 3) The most important part is how easy is it to clean it out afterwards. It's horrible to have old coffee grounds stuck inside the filter; and that's where this filter excels. It is well designed with no areas that trap or catch the old grounds, so when you dump it the old coffee grounds come out easily. A quick rinse is all that's ever needed to get it completely clean. 4) It also appears to be very durable and well made. Many other ones I've used in the past fail if there's even a small amount of coffee ground on the rim, and the plastic gets old after a while. This one is pretty heavy duty -- wipe the rim of course, but it doesn't seem like it will bother this filter at all. I expect these to last a very long time. BOTTOM LINE: This is a well made filter that allows good water flow through the grounds, keeps even the fine grinds of coffee from getting into your cup, is durable and easy to clean. Don't worry about purchasing this product, it's a good one.

Great Reusable Coffee Pods!
These reusable coffee pods work great. I have been using the pods in both the Keurig B60, and the Keurig K-Mini Single Serve Coffee Maker, with no problems at all. I have used these pods for over 2 years now, and all 4 are still working well. The only "issue" I have experienced is the plastic purple ring around the top eventually comes off, but the pods still work fine without it. I have read where most people put the coffee loosely in the pods. I have actually found that packing the coffee in the pods makes a stronger cup of coffee, as it slows down the passing if the water through the coffee, allowing it to absorb more flavor. Just don't overfill the pods when packing the coffee in them. Leave some space between the water inlet and the coffee so the lid seals properly. Packing the coffee also makes the pods easier to clean, as it comes out in one clump when you tap the bottom of the pod. Then just rinse the residual grounds with water. I like the fact that there is no plastic being wasted like with the disposable K-cups. I can also grind my own (Peet's) coffee beans to the best consistency for use in the reusable pods. I have tried using the little paper filters in these reusable pods, but to me it is just a waste of time. The coffee tastes the same with or without the filter. You are also just replacing the plastic trash that you are reducing with paper trash, by using the reusable pods with filters, so what's the point? Buying coffee either ground or as whole beans is also much cheaper than buying disposable K-cups, so that is a big plus. Overall, I have no complaints regarding these reusable coffee pods. I highly recommend them to any avid coffee drinkers looking to save a little money and the environment.

Not Quite Like Auto-Drip, But Close....
This item works very well and is much cheaper than the Keurig brand reusable filters, especially since they're phasing out the model that works in my machine. Please be advised, if you're going the route of grinding your own beans for a Keurig machine, then a conical burr coffee grinder is a must. You have to have a fine and uniform grind to work for this type of coffee maker, and for the reusable filters like this one. Auto-drip ground coffee is too course and simply will not work using this type of filter, a lot of the auto-drip grounds will float on the water and have no contact time at all. That, and you'll have very little contact time with grounds that course, and you'll get a cup of coffee that doesn't even qualify as tea, which is very disappointing. To increase your contact time between water and grounds, which makes a stronger cup of coffee, you have to make the grounds finer and that also keeps the grounds from floating. You'll have to experiment with whichever grinder you buy in order to dial in the fineness that works best for you. If you grind your beans too fine, then the water won't pass through quickly enough and you'll start overflowing water out the top of the filter, there's a sweet spot that you'll need to find. I've got a Secura grinder and the sweet spot seems to be the next click above 3 on the fineness adjuster. If you do as I recommended above, you'll get a pretty good cup of coffee from this filter. Not auto-drip good, but pretty close. These filters are very simple to use, very little can go wrong, just make sure you close the lid tightly. If you don't, then you'll overflow the filter and get water and coffee grounds all over the counter. The filter paper that comes with these isn't necessary in my opinion.

Great value!
I got these reusable cups so I could save some money by using my own grind instead of paying twice as much or more for just an 18pk of one time use kcups at the local store. They seem to work well so far! I purchased the kcup paper filters along side these cups to make sure the coffee that came out was as good as a regular kcup bought from the store. Without any filter, what you end up with is a gritty cup of coffee, because the gold plated mesh does not catch it all. While it's no big deal to me, to buy the filters, I'm sure it may be to someone, so I feel I need to mention that you really will need filters. The paper filters I bought fit in the cup well, but it is hard to close the lid to the top of the kcup with the filter in place. You have to give it a rather hard convincing "tap" to get the lid down and stay down. Once you get it down though, it's good to go. The grind I used said to use 2 tablespoons for a kcup pod. I did find that the cup, with the filter in it, had trouble holding a full 2 tablespoons of grind, but when I filled it and compacted it down well, it was enough regardless of the fact that there was less in the kcup, so it's kind of a mixed feeling for me where that is concerned. I got the amount of coffee I wanted using less grind and it tasted the strength I wanted, but the pod just doesn't hold a full 2 tablespoons like the OEM kcup does. It would be pointless to thank you and make it fit, because it won't. Overall, the kcup works well. I have the keurig 525c model, and my machine has had no problems using the cups or being able to work it's coffee making magic with the pods. So if you are wondering if it will work in a similar 2.0 model, the answer is yes, it did for me. I plan to buy another set so I can make up a few days worth of coffee ahead of time for myself and my husband. One small amount of work ahead will save the environment of several dozen kcups a month. Good product!

Fabulous! I love them!
I ordered only six of these to try them in my Keurig 2.0. I compared them end to end and bottom to bottom to actual K-Cups, and they are exactly the same size. After a week of constant use, rinsing them, letting them dry, and then refilling them for morning, I was sold. Lots of coffee is made here, and not once have one of these cups spewed grounds into my coffee. At the bottom of my cup I see a bit of residue, but I'm fine with that. I also love coffee made with a French press as well, though, and that leaves far more residue by comparison. Inside these little cups there is a line just below the upper edge. I try not to fill above that line, and I do not pack the coffee inside the cups. I leave it loose, and I make sure that there are not particles of coffee on the edge of the cup before I close it. (Another fact: I found it difficult to open these cups when I first got them. There is a hinged edge on one side of the cup. Lift up the lid directly across from that edge, and the cup opens easily.) I was so pleased with these cups that I ordered thirty more along with this K-Cup carousel to hold 35. It was a bit of a chore to fill 35 cups. But normally I will fill only four or five before bedtime, however many we used, rinsed, and put in the drainer to dry that day. When I have guests I'll use more, but to me that will be no big deal. I like the fact that filling reusable K-Cups saves me money, but the huge deciding factor for me is imagining the hundreds of thousands of brand-name K-Cups that are used and tossed in the trash daily across not only our country but the world. Imagine the gigantic mountain of plastic, which is not friendly to our environment and will take possibly forever to degrade, that creates daily on our planet. I love my coffee, and I love the one-cup servings that my Keurig makes possible. But I don't wish to create an environmental hazard by disposing of K-Cups simply because they are easy to use. These little jewels don't require rocket science to fill them. They have my vote! I buy my favorite brands of beans and grind my own coffee. A person could also use these with loose tea to make a delicious cuppa. I just wish the company would make these in different colors to match our machines. Mine is red, and the lavender/purple color doesn't look as lovely sitting beside it as red cups would. Update: After use, I stick these cups in my rack to dry out. When we make a cup of coffee, we just tap out the dried grounds and use them again to eliminate washing the K-cups continuously. After using these things daily for many months, I can say they are well-made, hold up well, and allow me and my family to diminish our garbage output HUGELY! I do have coffee ground residue at the bottom of my cups of coffee. I just stop drinking and rinse the cup. That doesn't bother me. I'm very glad I bought these. I hate the color of them, but I can't complain about the quality, durability, or the coffee that they provide.

First week and I am happy with these reusable K-cup pods.
I have had these for a week now. Things I like about them. 1. Works with m K450. 2. Cleans easily 3. Cannot be punctured by the needle. 4. Does not need to be placed in a specific position other than bottom down. Things I do: 1. I use Disposable Filters and cleanup is a breeze. The filter also makes the water soak a little longer in the grounds and thus makes the coffee a bit stronger. I brew 12oz cup in my Keurig which also affects strength. 2. I only cleaned them with soapy water before first use. Thereafter I dump the grounds into the garbage and rinse with hottest water. Oils are gone and the baskets have stayed sparkly clean. FWIW - This is what I have done with all of my reusable K-Cup coffee pods and I have never had a problem. I've read at least one complaint that it is difficult to find the lip to open. Since the plastic hinge is directly opposite the lip to open the cup and the hinge is straight, I use the hinge to orient the cup first. This has worked well for me. However, a strong visual cue would help too. Others have complained that the coffee made using these reusable cups is weak. Frankly, I've never had a cup of Keurig-brewed coffee that is as goodly strong as a coffee shop coffee regardless of whether you brew 6oz or 12oz. I've consumed the coffee from all sorts of different Keurig and non-Keurig pods as well as several varieties of reusable pods similar to these. If you want strong coffee prepare to be disappointed by the Keurig coffee makers. Medium strong you can get. Strong, nope. 2018.03.01: A month and I am still quite pleased with these. Cleanup is simple and quick. I've now brewed more than a 100 12oz coffees with these.

Buy the original factory reusable container if you do not intend to also brew prefilled k-cups.
Add just over two dollars apiece, the kids that make these are doing a great job! Price for quality I would say theyโre well worth the two dollars. One downside is the lid opens and closes by a thin piece of plastic (hinge) that is integral to the basket. I would imagine that over time, this hinge will break. Even if it does, I would imagine that it would still be usable. I gave the product only three stars because the coffee that it produces is not quite as good as the Keureg factory original reusable basket. I suspect the reason for this is that the Keureg factory original reusable basket and holder has a small opening at the top (as this does) and also a small opening at the bottom (which this does not). I suppose that the small opening allows pressure to build up and the coffee to become infused with the water under pressure. With this style of basket, I imagine that the coffee is never fully infused properly since the mesh has a greater surface area than the tiny hole. I could be wrong on thisโฆ Ask a physicist or mathematician. On the plus side, if you choose to continue to use commercially prepared coffee pods AND these reusable containers (switching between them frequently), there is no need to repeatedly remove and replace the plastic insert in the coffee machine to accommodate them as you do with the factory original reusable basket since these slip into the machine just like the prefilled pods. All in all, I wish I didnโt have the darn keureg the first place as I probably can make as good of a cuppa coffee with a pour over or even a drip coffee maker and save the planet all the plastic, but bottom line is..... if you never use K cup, store-bought, pre-filled coffee containers and I only use reusable, I would spend the extra dollars and buy the original factory product. If, on the other hand, you are going to switch between pre-filled K cups and reusable/refillable containers, these are a pretty good quality product which will make you a pretty good/So-so cup of coffee.

Maybe Not For Everyone, but a Quality Product We're Quite Happy With.
The negative reviews for this product rose the following concerns: 1 - The lid doesn't easily close. 2 - The brew result is weak. 3 - No Trace of Gold on the Mesh. 4 - Not fitting in Keurig machine. 5 - Lids break off after less than a year of use. 6 - Coffee grounds in my coffee. We've used [and re-used] these pods for several months, now, so I'm in a position to address most of these complaints: 1 - Maybe if there are coffee grounds on the lip. Otherwise, we've found, beyond the expected resistance of an o-ring seal, they close quite easily, and completely for an excellent seal. And, even if a few grains between the lid and the pod, they, typically, crush under minor pressure. Maybe the reviewers are not grinding there beans enough [or not at all]. See #2, below. 2 - Yes, our first brews resulted in weak, watery coffee. So, we made a few adjustments: a - We switched to a Dark French Roast. But, consider that we were accustomed to drinking a Medium Roast [Starbucks Veranda], so if you like a strong cup of coffee, this might not satisfy. Following is the coffee we now use: > Ground: https: //amzn.to/2QAG9cv > Whole Beans: https://amzn.to/2QAH2Sn [strangely, the smaller 12oz bags are a better value than any of the larger quantity offers!!] b - We always make sure the pod is filled completely to the brim. c - We buy the whole beans, and make sure to thoroughly grind them, for the greatest surface area. Another, possible, reason for a weaker brew is the way these pods are constructed. The geometry of the pod is dictated by a lower needle, in the Keurig machine. When I did my original research, it was clear there are two main solutions [across the various products I considered]: a - Completely bottom out above the needle, resulting in a flat inner base. Con: Under-utilizes the available volume. Pro: Easier to clean. b - Extend the bottom of the pod beyond the needle, with a raised, central "terrace" that avoids the needle. Con: Harder to clean. Pro: Accommodates a larger volume of coffee grounds. I opted for easier to clean. 3 - The mesh on all 6 of our pods are quite gold. 4 - We have an old K-40 Elite machine, and the pods fit quite nicely. But, to be fair, the negatives, of this category, involved model numbers such as k150 and k200, so I have no experience, there. 5 - So far, the hinges, on our pods, are in good form -- but, our use duration likely falls short of the reviewer's "less that a year". But, there are three of us, using them once, and even twice, a day, and they seem fine. Our use is, though, spread across all 6 pods, with no accounting for frequency/pod. 6 - Maybe one time [out of hundreds], did I find a coffee ground floating in my coffee. And, never, at the bottom of the cup. This just doesn't happen. The mesh on these reusable pods is very fine, and even when filling them with coffee bean's that I've ground the snot out of [I actually shake the grinder, to get as much product into the blades, as possible], nothing escapes [except, maybe, that one spec I previously alluded to]. In fact, it's more likely the pod chamber, on the Keurig machine, needs a cleaning, as coffee dust can accumulate there. BTW: The reason I'm so zealous in my coffee grinding, is to get the grounds as fine as possible, for the greatest surface area, as remedy for issue #2. UPDATE [2/25/2021]: One was accidentally tossed in the trash, so we have 5 left, and after over a year of heavy use, they are still in fine shape! Still VERY happy with these!! UPDATE [7/12/2021]:Still working great, and in great condition. These get used by several people, once or twice a day, so they get a LOT of use, and all are still intact. No hinge failures or visible wear of any kind! FYI, we use a chopstick to remove the spend coffee grounds into the waste bin, to avoid deforming them. Then to the sink to for a rinse, then to the drying rack.

Excellent Product
The cups work with the needle that punctures the non-reusable cups so, no worries about that, and the cups are easy to clean and it's nice that there's 4 of them. I'm really happy with the product.

These work well with the Keurig K-150 coffee maker. ...
These work well with the Keurig K-150 coffee maker. However you have to be scrupulous about removing old coffee grains from the top lip. How long it will work before the lid breaks off remains to be seen.

Couldn't be for perfect
works fantastically with our Keurig Elite coffee machine. Fill up the filter with any ground coffee you want and you get a great cup of brewed coffee. Much for economical as well as environment. Nothing goes in the garbage except the used coffee grounds, rinse and reuse.

They're great! Storing them is awkward
These do exactly what I need them to do. They're easy to use and easy to clean. They don't stay closed super well if you planned on storing them with their lids closed, however they do stay closed while in the machine and no coffee grounds escape. So, they work as needed!
