Great bow for the price
Received my bow today nearly two weeks ahead of time. Having read other reviews I didn't bother with the supplied string but fitted a fastflight flemish twist string, the limbs appear to be bamboo looking at the end grain by the fades but I can't be sure? Shot some 6.8 gpi carbons and they came out fast but the bow was a little noisy(no string silencers fitted yet)so tried some 7.9 gpi easton axis traditional with 120 grain points and they grouped really well and the bow quietened right down,I'd say a heavier arrows would be a good choice with this bow. The limbs are fast but draw very smoothly up to my 29" draw,I really like the short 15" riser and the grip is easy in the hand, very comfortable. Overall it looks like a great bow, fairly light but quick and consistent, the build quality is pretty good especially given the price of it. Have yet to use this bow out on a 3D course but my initial impressions are good,I got this bow as a back-up bow to my Bearpaw Mohawk Chief and Osiris, think I may be using it quite often!

Love it
Love this bow so much my wife me buy a second one for her. I canโt say how good it is straight out of the box as I always make my own Flemish twist bow strings for my bows. Other than adding some furs to the strings the rest us stock. Itโs very comfortable and smooth to shoot. No hand shock that I can tell. Out of the 35lb bow weโre shooting 600 spine 30โ arrows with 100gr field points and managing 4-5โ groups at around 20 yards which for us is pretty decent. I have a 27โ draw and my 35lb bow is getting me about 33lbs which seems close to me. We will see how they hold up over time (I bought the first one about a year ago and zero issues with it).

I wish I would not have waited so long to get one of these
Simply amazing I probably agree with many of the reviewers that say the included string is just usable at best I mean it flings arrows it's okay I put a Flemish twist and it's all the difference in the world get yourself a 57-in Flemish twist twisted to about 56 and 3/4 so that your brace height is around 8 in at least on this bow and it's magic. My bow weight seem to be just about right I don't have a bow scale so I can't tell you it's 35 lb at 28 in but it feels like my other 35 lb recurve so good enough for me. I'm still using the stick on shelf but at some point I will probably change it out to industrial Velcro for my strike plate just the soft side. I think the longbow is just a bit less hand shock of course you'll have to tune your bow and your arrows to work in concert I would say get one while you can I am thinking about getting another one highly recommended

Buy this one.
For the money, the best practice bow on the market.

Great bow for the price
This bow impressed me! For right at $100 it shoots just as good if not better than my $400 bow. I did change the string, that was the only thing that I didn't like.
