I ordered these pillow cases a bit skeptical as I have been burned by online shopping before, especially involving bedding. However I could not find the right color/fabric combo in stores. I quick search led me to these pillow cases. I ordered two of them and they arrived very quickly which was exciting. Upon opening the package, I was treated with a beautiful thin box instead of a plastic bag. I pulled the materials out and was immediately taken back by how beautiful the navy color was. Just as rich if not more as the photos. Super slick feeling and I was lucky enough to have found a single thread left in the box (there were no loose threads on the actual pillow case). Upon finding the thread I conducted a burn test. Sure enough. The faint smell of burnt hair met my nose. It crumbled in my hands as was suggested to happen with real silk. I believe these to be the real deal, especially given my hair has that “Yeah, I totally got out of bed looking like this” vibe which I am digging because it’s true! So soft and lush! The fabric is very well woven. I compared it to a recent 1000 thread count sheet set I also purchased from a local bedding and bath store, which I included a photo so you too can compare. Sorry about the wrinkles. I had just opened it. I also included a photo of the fabric against a tape measure so you can see the size of the weave pattern. The drape is delicate but substantial and catches the light and shadows to give a beautiful range of navy, light, and dark blues. I purchased the King sized pillowcases and they were pleasantly true to size as my husband and I enjoy a quite plush, full, and firm pillow. Seriously, these things are pretty massive and have little give so I was nervous they would stress the zippers. I put the case on and found it to look plump but still zip up perfectly fine. Almost as if it were tailored. Beautiful fill. The color is rich and decadent and holds it self perfectly with various textures as well as warmer and cooler color schemes. My current go to is whites, navy, greys, light beige, and minor touches of mauve for a little warmth. These compliment all those colors so much better than I had hoped. They blend without disappearing and stand tall while not outperforming the other colors. I can’t wait to see them with the headboard my husband and I are building! They appear to be durable. My husband has a beard and his facial hair can sometimes be a bit rough. So far I haven’t noticed any I’ll side affects from this type of abrasion. I fluff my pillows daily with the cases still on and they have held up wonderfully. Washing is a little tricky with silk. I have washed them once so far in a plastic tote I purchased and I used distilled water (I have hard water and didn’t want to use that) and special designed silk shampoo. I let them soak about 30 minutes and then gently agitate with my hands. If I have any serious staining I would probably take them to my dry cleaners. I gently wrapped them in a soft cotton cloth and applied small amount of pressure to remove most of the water and then laid them out flat to air dry about 4 hours. So far the have maintained their beautiful luster and softness. When it comes time to retire these, I will definitely be reordering as they exceeded my expectation and then some. There is no better value for the price. Don’t hesitate to order these, they are fantastic! UPDATE: I purchased an in home water softener system and decided to give these a try in the washer. I used the cold wash/cold rinse setting, my traditional tide laundry detergent (maybe a tablespoon worth for just these), and washed on the delicate setting in a lingerie bag. I air dried them as normal and they came out perfectly fine. So far they have held up fine minus one of the zippers coming a little loose, but my pillows are almost 40" in diameter, and are fluffed every morning in the case so that could be the reason.

I’ve been using the Ravmix Silk Pillowcase with Zipper for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed with the quality. The product I purchased was the 21 Momme mulberry silk pillowcase in the ivory color, for a queen size pillow. I purchased only one, and I did look through reviews prior to purchasing. I did appreciate that the listing was including specific details, not just saying something like silk without any real info (look for momme) and it did come with a little card to show how to test if it was truly silk. I did not do the test personally because I could not find a strand of the thread to use, and didn't wanna ruin the pillowcase stitching just to do that. It does come with instructions on how to clean and wash. Upon delivery, it did feel similar in texture to my other pillowcases from a different brand. This is less momme compared to the other brand, but still is silk. As it is supposed to be silk, it does have a cooling effect which is nice for summertime. Though not exactly right now for me because it's still spring so I do get cold. So keep a blanket if you need. Overall, this is a good recommendation for someone looking into silk pillowcases. I have only used for a week so far and not washed it yet, I will update review after some time and several washes to see how it holds up! But so far, so good.

I got this pillow case yesterday, it is the second one I have purchased. It is extremely soft and silky, the color is a deep saturated teal blue. When I got up this morning, my hair was not a tangled mess as it had been. I have very fine hair, that makes it look thin. I just don't want to pull any out when detangling it. This pillow case will go a very long way toward keeping my hair untangled and on my head! The instructions for washing are not written by an English speaker, that said, they are specific. Wash on the "back side" iron on the "back side", hand wash, do not immerse for more then 3 seconds, do not wring dry, blot dry with a towel, lay out to air dry. I did decode this to mean "wash inside out" and only iron on the "wrong side" of the fabric. I have not argument about how to care for the silk. I will do that. My first silk pillow case from this vendor died. The zipper split out and the fabric warped. Half my fault, water was likely too warm and the soap too strong. The zipper was a poor choice for this product, buy I did buy a second one. Great price for a really nice product. Silk is just something that requires careful handling. AND the king size case is very roomy, more then big enough for any king pillow on my bed.

I really love these pillow cases. The standard fits perfectly on my standard inserts and the hidden zippers are small and smooth. There is no nasty smell straight out the case. I do not hand wash these (I did at first) but I wash them on cold, delicate in a garment bag and they look new for a couple years. I have them on pillows in every bedroom in my home. They are great for your skin and also your hair as they do not absorb your skin care as much and is smooth on your hair. I do not think they stain easily but have noticed after about 100 washes they do start to look a little worn. You seriously can not beat the price. Love the color selection and my most recent purchase was the taupe and it is a beautiful deep beige or light taupe, on the warm side. Can not recommend these enough!

I’ve had this product for about a month, have washed it a few times. It was true to the color show online, seems to be real silk, has a good sheen and smoothness, and seems to be sewn well. The only downside is that it stains so easily? If you sweat, tear, drool, wear thick moisturizers or have oily skin, it will show very obviously. I bought the dark pink color, maybe other colors won’t show the stains. This is the darkest genuine silk pillow case I’ve ever used, so maybe this is the norm? I have had a small breakout on my face since I started using these cases, not sure if this could be part of the issue, but it definitely inspires me to change them more often. My skin doesn’t feel more/less dry than it did on less smooth or synthetic silk pillow cases. I might try a thicker silk or darker color if you want to avoid this issue.

This pillowcase is lovely and soft, with silk on both sides. The pillowcase works well, to protect facial skin & keep hair from being messy. This pillowcase is a less expensive option than the beautiful Blissy pillowcase.

Soft & silky smooth!

Didn’t work out for me. Even though my pillows are standard size, these pillowcases were tight to put on. The aqua green color also looked more like a dark pistachio, not what I expected. Measure carefully and keep the color discrepancy in mind before buying. Other than that, they felt nice and soft.
