These Skull & Co CQC Thumb Grips are absolutely amazing. The non-slip grip is fantastic, and they provide the perfect height for my thumbs, especially when playing shooters. I find that they give me much better control and accuracy, which is crucial in fast-paced games. They’re super easy to assemble and stay firmly in place during gameplay, which is something I can't say about KontrolFreeks. Even in the most intense moments, they don’t come off, giving me confidence in every game. The only time I’ve had issues is when I accidentally clip them off the thumbstick, but that’s just because of how I hold my PS5 controller, and it’s not really a flaw with the grips themselves. For the price, these are an absolute steal. They’re durable, comfortable, and enhance gameplay in every way. Highly recommend! ⭐ 5/5 – Durable, non-slip, and perfect for shooters!

These are by far better than a certain performance grips company in every way. They feel great, don’t slip off, and are highly customisable with different hight options as standard in the package. Cost effective. I actually use them because I can experience hand fatigue with stock sticks due to an underlying health problem, but can certainly see how they improve performance allowing for more precise control. The only thing I can’t comment on is how durable they might be, but the quality of the rubber feels good.

Partner happy but he said his finger does slip off on these grips they fit to a ps5 controller perfectly nice colours but need more grip the quality is okay if these had more grip they would be even better but he's happy for now with them

I previously purchased a set of similar covers by Skull & Co. for the Steam deck, and so wanting to avoid the degradation typical of the stock PlayStation joystick rubber (an issue which has plagued PlayStation controllers for decades) I came back to purchase more - which I think speaks volumes. I found the soft rubber very easy to install and with 6 included I was able to add covers to multiple different controllers, fitting perfectly without damaging the controller in any way, which makes this great value for money compared to other brands which are often twice the price for only 2 covers. I use these controllers regularly, and have yet to have any issues. Personally, I found that placing one of the 'elevated' thumbstick covers on the right analogue stick also helps me to control the camera in game with greater ease - I'm not suggest that it made me better at playing, but it was far nicer to use.

Bought these for the Switch 2 Pro Controller which while a great controller, has flawed thumbsticks. The trouble is that they are thin, flat and shiny. My thumbs would slip on them and slide off. Also when pushing at the side of them with your thumb, because they are so thin they dig into your thumb and cause minor discomfort. These thumb grips are game changers. They feel amazing, the extra grip and the thickness of them are perfect, I chose the concave ones which are ideal. Was excited to try these playing FC24 (FIFA). Only really wanted the two extender ones so I can fine tune my appalling shooting. Tried them on practice arena then felt good so went into first online match. Within the first 2 minutes the left stick popped off. I’d made sure the thing was fitted correctly. The skirt was fully surrounding the joystick. I took the right stick one off at half time as I didn’t want it to do the same thing. So for me, with this game, they were a waste of money. Maybe if I used a 3m sticky pad it might hold but I’d rather not bother. They felt nice while they lasted those 2 minutes. Maybe less energetic joystick inputs you might be ok. High intensity definitely not. They hit the post with these which is better than me in FC24 so 3 stars.

Had been looking for some thumbsticks for my Gamesir G7 controller, the Kontrolfreeks ones fit but were too high, these ones are perfect. There is a knack to applying them and you need to flip them inside out, align them and then flip them back down, that should get them on there at least 90% then you just need to mess around with them until they sit nicely.

These thumb grips for the PS5 fit tightly and feel great in use. There’s no unwanted rotation unless I’m deliberately trying, so they stay exactly where you put them during gameplay. Having six in the pack is handy—gives me different options depending on what grip feels best on each controller, plus spares for when the originals eventually wear down. It’s convenient if you’ve got several controllers and don’t mind them each having slightly different grips for different moods or uses. Overall, they give a noticeably better thumb feel and help protect the original sticks beneath.
