Women's Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots

Cute and lightweight and soft to wear. My only thing is it looks like it would hold your ankle but it doesn’t so no to ankle support. But thankful they are lightweight and cute.

Excellent quality. Returns are due to sizing only. Bought multiple times. The black pair runs larger than the gray kind. Size 7 in black is 7.5 in gray. Normal size is 7.5. I get compliments often. Thank you.

UPDATED REVIEW!!!!! My below review was from a few hours of wear but now I have been hiking in these boots on three different trails, rock climbed and been out to waterfalls and let me just say something about these boots... AMAZING! As long as you dont let water come to the top of your boot, meaning above where they're tied off at your ankle... you can completely put this shoe underwater with nothing to leak inside and get your feet wet. Yesterday I stood in a creek ankle high and was in there for a good bit of time with no leaking inside my boot. As far as comfort.. I have never found a boot this comfy. I hiked almost four hours and even wore them to drive home an hour and to grocery shop in. This boot is truly amazing... The boot functionality itself gets a 5 STAR from me. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was realted to my previous review below. Before I give the negative I want to give the positive. I hike ALOT. These boots were definitely created for those who hike hikes for the not faint of heart. The grip on the sides as well as top and bottom are incredible! Even better than what appears to the eye in the pics given for purchase. I was very hesitant in buying these because the price was so low and any regular hiker knows you’re going to spend well over $100.00 on a good hiking boot. I have to say that these are the most comfortable hiking boot I’ve ever put on my foot. Size is true to my normal foot size of an 8. My twin sister ordered a half size up as they recommend you order a full size up and even the half size was too big. Even in wearing good, solid hiking socks they’re not too snug. The fit is just right. The ankle support is top notch and does not rub my ankles raw like past hiking shoes. This shoe is truly a great product. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. Now, the negative. When I received these I took them straight out of the box and placed them on my feet only to find I could barely tie the left boot due to the boot string being frayed almost completely in half. These were purchased as brand new, not used so not sure why it looks like a rat chewed through the string. I contacted amazon and they stated I would have to call the manufacture for the replacement. All in the end, they sent me a new pair of boots and I have to take the current pair back to UPS. Not a fun process but I would say that it’s still worth having a good boot! Side note: My boot is an ankle boot and feels perfect for what I wanted. My twin sister got the taller boot that was also labeled an ankle boot but true to form is a mid calf hiking boot. Both are a great fit and were comfortable just walking around in for a few hours. Will update after our long hike in a few days!

Only reasons I gave them a 2 star: very stiff, was a bit harder to put on the left foot, and not great for winter. These snug your feet really well. I ordered a full size up (wear a 10, bought an 11) and I had a bit of wiggle room without killing my toes. However, I did buy these to try for snow and ice. They do not work. Yes, I'm aware it says for hiking, but some people hike mountains that may have snow on them. It was worth a shot since they're the cleat style. Seems like a great shoe even though it's very stiff, did rub my ankle though. Oh well, going back.

Good for working in wet places

This is what they looked like after just ONE 9 mile hike. Not to mention had a huge bruise on the inside of my ankle after wearing. I tried to wear them the next day (that's when I noticed the rubber sole coming away from the boot) and had to wrap 3 cotton balls onto the ankle to even put them on. Abandoned that idea quickly and went back to my lower heeled hiking shoes, just couldn't do it, way too painful. So, that combined with the lousy quality = low rating. Had such high hopes as I'd purchased these for a week of blissful solo hiking up in TN but that surely didn't work out for me. I wouldn't do it again, certainly, (the boots I mean, not the hiking trip! :-) ) I really should go for the warranty or return but not sure it's worth my time. Still deciding but sure won't purchase these or this brand again.

If you're a casual hiker, you may find them too stiff to get through the break in period. It could hurt your ankle. I wanted these for a trip and didn't think I'd make it. They are sturdy feeling and well constructed. They were just a bit too heavy and stiff for what I was hoping for. I had to return.

Daily wearers and for 9 hours straight on my feet doing freight (in and out of trucks/trailers); up and down ladders, operating large equipment and even the normal trail walking with dogs. Reflecting water well. They still look new, although used hard a tremendous amount. Was great getting boots that I did not have to break-in at all. I have received compliments from those stating how nice they looked and where did I purchase. I definitely plan to purchase a second pair. As mentioned in the reviews (I read before I purchased) customers that had already purchased suggested to get a whole size up from your normal size. Which was indeed accurate. I did so and they fit perfectly. Love the whole design, everything I was looking for in a boot. Super well-made and they we very reasonably priced. 😉😁😁😁
