Grout Groovy! Stand-Up Grout Cleaner | Electric Tile Scrubber | 20' Cord

I used this machine with Zep grout cleaner.. so first off,,it's a very lightweight plastic electric scrub brush.. So I think the price is a bit too much.. Also, I don't feel like it will last very long🤞.. BUT,,, it was easy to use,,and my grout looks great...my main complaint would be that it doesn't get very close to the wall,or under the cabibet front edges and the instructions were Kinda vague. I've been cleaning grout on my hands and knees for months..very hard work and slow going..I was able to do a hallway in about 10 minutes and only had to get down to do a couple problem spots.. So all in all if this little thing lasts long enough to get my monies worth, I'll be happy with it. I have 3700 sq feet of ceramic tile and light gray grout..so its a big job. 🥴

This machine is great! Helps me keep my grout lines looking terrific and saves me from being on my hands and knees. I noticed that they offer a telescopic brush that I'm thinking of purchasing for those places the machine can't get to, like under the cabinet edges and in the corners. It is made of a durable material that I think will last for many years. I have different size grout lines and it is nice that they offer the wide brush that comes with the machine as well as a narrower brush for my thinner grout lines. Well worth the purchase!

It isn't the best build. It isn't the best design. It is too expensive for the components used. It doesn't even have a earth ground. A two year old could have done better. Yet, it works great, especially with Clorox spray as a cleaning agent. If the motor burns up in mine, I will just buy another one, it works that well.

Brushes wear out very quickly and cost $10 each. Picture shows brush after about 150 lineal feet. Still need to use a brush on a stick to get the edges. Wound up using the brush on stick for most of the floor. It was no more difficult that using the electric brush and alot less expensive.

Using this is much easier than getting down on your hands and knees. On the other hand, it is not a time saver. You’re instructed to work in small sections, so my kitchen took about 2 hours. You’re applying a grout cleaner to a small area and allowing it to sit for 5 minutes, then using the Grout Groovy to clean the grout, then wiping the grout. Finally, you wash the whole floor. It does a good job if your grout lines are relatively wide, not so much for very narrow grout lines. Bear in mind that it cleans out the dirt - it will not remove stains. Guiding the Grout Groovy can be challenging because the brush naturally propels the device forward and not necessarily in a straight line. If you want to concentrate on a particular spot, it’s not easy. It’s not particularly heavy, so these are not insurmountable challenges. This device is a step in the right direction, but I hope someone comes up with something more effective. The ideal tool would spray the cleaner and remove the dirty water as it goes and be self guided. In the age of cleaning robots, I have to believe this is doable.

I have 2 floors of slate. I'll never ever build a house like that again! :-) I was an early adopter of Grout Gator, and did their website. Loved it! They are no longer actively marketing but still have product refills etc. When I found this product, I was intrigued. Purchased it and tried it out today. Comparison to Grout Gator was in my mind as I used it. While Grout Gator can adjust for any size tile to do both sides at the same time, Grout Groovy only does one side at a time. A wish list for them to expand to a two-sided version in popular tile sizes. So I noted how long it took me with Grout Groovy vs Grout Gator to do my kitchen slate floor and it was a tie. While Grout Gator can do more sides, and Grout Groovy is limited to only one site, the electric option on Grout Groovy made the work faster. But here's the final upside: it was easier with the electric. Less muscle needed from this senior citizen. The downside is the same as Grout Gator: The nylon bristles will need to be replaced depending on how often used. Another caveat, I have a manual single brush wire unit and needed it for hard to reach spots, like next to refrigerator that butts up to the cabinet. Overall, highly recommended. I am pleased with it. I own nearly all cleaning gadgets including the wonderful iRobot wash and vac. All devices are good for specific jobs. I give this one a 99% pleased.

This is the 3rd device I have bought for cleaning the black grout on my kitchen tiles…..not happy with the previous tools until I found my groovy! Years of mopping and scrubbing floors from my 3 dogs wear and tear left me w black grout which originally was light gray ( never listen to your contractor about how the new grout will not stain). One tip Putting this machine over the grout will not work unless you do the prep. First you should spray the grout line w detergent, floor cleaner or vinegar mixture. Let it sit for 5 minutes or longer, then run the machine bristle over the line. Be generous with spraying over the grout lines. You should see the grossness expelled from the grout line. Spray again and run machine again. Mop floor and take a break and admire the cleaning. It’s time consuming but heck it’s been years of black grout. And you still might have to get down on the floor w a grout brush to scrub near the cabinet kick board. One negative is I can’t reach the all the grout line to the cabinet kick board due to how the bristle head is configured. So then u need to get down on the floor to use elbow grease. 5 stars highly recommend

Yes easy to assemble (after watching video) BUT did not work as expected. It's light weight and the bristles are too hard to get good grout cleaning. My floor scrub brush (the one with broom handle) did a better and faster job. The machine was easier on my back but I still would not recommend on anything other than a touch-up/regular maintenance. For the price...tuh no. This machine needs to be heavier with a wider and bit softer bristles to be effective. Oh! And I had to use very strong grout cleaner. Regular floor cleaner did nothing with this machine. But ironically I could use either with my scrub brush that I bought from home depot for about $10.

Cleaned my living room and kitchen and very satisfied. Just ordered three more brushes so I can clean my three bedrooms. The machine comes with two brushes and they are already worn done.
