Oh my gosh - this stuff is incredible. I got the Cedarwood and the smell is not bad at all. Most importantly, once I spray my dog she totally is fine with it. No licking at all, which I was a bit concerned about. We walk in forest preserves and wetlands quite a bit so ticks always take a ride home with her (even though she does receive flea and tick meds monthly).Since Day 1 - NO TICKS! I've been using it once a day, usually in the morning and it seems to last through the evening for a final walk because - NO Ticks!

This is the best non toxic insect spray around in my humble opinion.

I got this hoping it would help keep the fleas off of my dog after a flea bath, but it doesn't seem to bother any of the fleas that are already on her. They dislike freshly-applied Cedarcide, but don't die or jump off. I'll have to try applying Cedarcide immediately after a flea bath. To my understanding, cedar oil is not toxic to fleas, but may contain compounds that make it difficult for fleas to find their victims.I have tried Cedarcide on fire ants and roaches, and it did kill them. If you get some Cedarcide for fleas and it doesn't work, you could always use it to deodorize old rugs, freshen laundry, and probably repel ticks and mosquitoes. Just beware that it is a little oily until dry, and has a very strong smell that is rather overwhelming for pets.

This does not work. The product does not repel fleas nor mosquitoes in my area. Maybe if the concentration of cedar oil was higher than only 20%, it would potentially work but it's just too weak for this area.

I’ve worn it outside several times and no ticks on me yet.
