Black 1996-2013 LocEzy Saddlebag Mounting Hardware Knobs are replacement/compatible for Saddlebag Quick Release Pins on Harley-Davidson Touring Motorcycles Theft Deterrent

Decided to replace factory pin locks on my 2012 street glide. I am glad I got them when I did. Upon removing factory saddlebag locks two of them just fell apart and broke, they are such a cheap design. With these new locks they have plenty of thread on them so it would take awhile before they come undone. I still check them before riding ensuring they are tight. I usually just look down between the saddlebag and rear fender to see how much thread from the bolt is sticking out just to ensure I see four bolts with the same amount of thread.

Easy to install, adds a little more protection than the factory mounts offer. We all know if someone wants something bad enough they will take it. I like the added security of the bags not falling off going down the road too. I drilled two small holes in the plastic part of the mounting screw and attached a bungee cord between them to keep the mounting screws from rotating or backing out from the bike's vibrations.

Great product; please read the instructions; when i installed the first time i did not transfer my washers from the old pins as told; Works as advertised; 300 mile trip and neither side has backed off at all; wish i would have done this long ago; great piece of mind.

Easy install instructions. Product works well. Don't think you can install and forget them. Checked several times and found they will loosen up after time.

Bags are very secure with these and when tightened down no movement at all. I did add a couple large washers on them to provide more surface area on the bags, so not to take a change and crack them. Note: be careful first time screwing them in that they are lined up well. May have to play around with them a little. In my haste I cross threaded one and had to run a tap and die over it.

I had purchased a 2015 Road Glide Special...real beauty of a bike! I was riding in the middle lane of a 65 mph highway when I heard a strange sound snd saw something black bouncing across the road get hit by 3 lanes of cars! My saddlebag had fallen off! really easy install, but wish there was some sort of lock on them. Have to be tightened often, have found them laying in the bottom of my by on multiple occasions
